Good guess, though I don't think Limpet actually had a fear of flying. This movie was more recent. (For a long time, though, "The Incredible Mr. Limpet" was my second-favorite movie, after "Mary Poppins." I actually did a clue for "Limpet" earlier in this thread.)
That's what I had in mind. "Jack Ryan" hates to fly, but after flying around in a helicopter to jump into the ocean next to a sub, he can sleep easily on a plane.

You're up, Lifted!

Okay, give me just a little bit of time. This is not as easy as "Name That Flick" where you can just post quotes...you have to be slightly creative here!
Hero and new girlfriend run into his wife. After a lot of chasing around, girlfriend gives up, hero and wife get back together, and live happily ever after.
If someone can't think of a reasonable guess and wants more clues, lemme know...

That's it, Kimberly. Now, would you like to try one? In this thread you need to come up with a weird description of a movie's plot. It isn't easy!

I'm guessing that Kimberly is passing. Anyone else want to give it a go?

I'll try, but I too am so used to that other thread and don't know how specific to get..."reproove" me if I do it wrong...

George is right. Perhaps it was too easy, but it was my first one, a freebie, and I had to get my feet wet in this thread.

You did fine. I'll try to come up with one later today.

Trying to think who might fit this category in this movie, but I'll take a wild stab at "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" anyway.

Another good guess, but not what I'm looking for. One of the stars of LoEG also stars in this movie, though!

Yep...I suppose my not so hidden "chasing" clue gave it away, and as george, I have also used this one in "Flick".

I dunno, I've seen 'Twister', and your clue wasn't so obvious to me.

Boy meets girl.
Boy falls hopelessly in love with girl.
Boy kills and dies for girl.
All in about 24 hours.

The only one that came to mind right away was "West Side Story", but maybe it came too fast to be the right guess...
