Lets study the gift of holy spirit

Let me welcome you to this study I am about to take with you the person about to read what was wrote as I travel into the realm of research a work of my flesh but we hope my spirit of Christ can direct our path.

The holy spirit was given because God loves us John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Without the holy spirit we are alone without hope Ephesians 2:1 “And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins:” but because of Christ entering our life we have hope.

The hope of glory Colossians 1:27 “To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:” this is were we begin to look for what it means to have Christ in us.

We read in 1 Corinthians 12:1 “Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.” otherwise God wants us to know what it is to have Christ in us.

Then we read 1 Corinthians 12:2 “Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led.” we think of were we came from before we received the gift of Christ.

But we keep reading 1 Corinthians 12:3 “Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.” this is true worship that can not mock the love of Jesus Christ.

We think about John 4:24 “ God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” this is the way God wants it so we go back too 1 Corinthians 12 and read some more.

1 Corinthians 12:4 “Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.” we come to see there are many parts to use this one spirit.

1 Corinthians 12:5 “And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.” so here we see there are many levers you might reach but it’s the same Lord Christ over them all.

1 Corinthians 12:6 “And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.” within this gift there are many tools to use to help us a lone the way but they are all power by the same love of God.

1 Corinthians 12:7 “ But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.” there power of out pouring into everyday life has been and is given to all of mankind to help him rise up to were God calls him to rise by comfort and guiding us.

1 Corinthians 12:8 “For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;” looks like we are about to look at the different operations or ways this gift of the spirit can be used but first lets move forward.

And read 1 Corinthians 12:11 “But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.” all these operations of the one gift of Christ in us work together to every mankind severally meaning more than one as the man’s wills.

This is a key to this gift with many parts while they are operated by the love of God through the gift of Christ in us its by our will to operate then we can use more than one of these powers of Christ working in us.

In Hebrews 13:21 “ Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.” a work done that is well pleasing to God by the power of Jesus Christ but lets get back to

1 Corinthians 12 now.

1 Corinthians 12:8 “For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;” one of these tools we can use by the power of Jesus Christ is the spirit of word of wisdom.

But why word of wisdom first and not faith or another operation of the spirit the power received from having Christ in us the image of God. Because the first spiritual wisdom we seek is the desire to be wise about things.

This desire to seek must come first because without a desire to look you may never look but this does not mean you will understand the things you find or even believe them.

But seeking is the key to using the power of word of wisdom and you can fine tone the use of this tool later as you learn more ways to seek like reading the bible while seeking for wisdom to what you are reading.

God is the foundation to wisdom because he created knowledge and by knowledge we gain a understanding of God’s great wisdom which equates God’s great love. This is why the second is given as the spirit of word of knowledge.

Word of knowledge establishes or builds on that which was received as word of wisdom other wisdom being understood to the answer we got from seeking out a answer.

This must come second because without understanding there is no value in the wisdom we have received and you can fine tone this later too.

We see a basic pattern here which is by the action of reaching out for answers from God by the way of Jesus Christ who can give us the answers we seek and so badly need in our lives.

This desire to know the truth is sew into our DNA but just because we reach it does not mean we will listen to the spiritual love of Christ answering because we can get side tracked by the many guesses of the flesh.

But now back to 1 Corinthians 12:9 “ To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;:” we see faith is third or number three.

As we think about the number three ponder on man is three parts body, soul, and spirit from three ways made, formed, and created we see that three stands for being complete.

We all so recall faith comes by hearing the word of God and that we all have the same measure of faith which I would say is a never ending supply of God’s love.

One could say as we hear the word of God by reading, listening, recalling what we received before, seeing it in action, and the list is endless we seek wisdom with understanding by knowledge of what we have received.

Faith is basically the end cycle of what we seek to understand becoming a truth that we trust to be true and real as a fact that with loving arms we face.

But lets move forward to gifts of healing which we find as number four and if we study numbers we know that four within the bible stands for the world.

The first healing you received was healing to your spirit making it alive again quicken it by the love of Christ but once the spirit is heal it has no more needs of healing.

But everything of this natural world is in a endless need of being healed by the love of God and you can fine tone this power of Christ too.

1 Corinthians 12:10 “To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:”

Ok working of miracles which is number five and if we study numbers we know that five in the bible stands for grace.

One notes the first miracles that comes from the action of good works is Jesus Christ entering you as Christ in you hope of glory and its was by God’s divine favor which is by his grace.

All miracles are done because God loves us and a miracle will help us get things done to help his children in some way.

Back to 1 Corinthians 12:10 “.... to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:”

Prophecy is just God talking to you one on one for you to share with others its fellow shipping with God and Christ personally.

Prophecy is number six and six stands for men which shows us that words of prophecy are given to mankind.

The complete bible is made up of prophecy wrote down for you to read this ability is given to you to share or hear the voice of God private for answer pray, how to help some one the right words, and the list goes on.

But basically God uses us to get what he wants to say out to the world by our five senses being lead by the Christ in us.

It has been said God uses your mouth to speak to others and you just have to be willing to be moved by the holy spirit to direct your words other wise God gives you words to speak but its you who speak them.

Its takes trust that God can use you for him to use you in any way.

But back to 1 Corinthians 12:10 “.... to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:”

Discerning of spirits is just basically controlling the images that come to your mind whether good or bad.

Discerning of spirits is number seven which stands for spiritual perfection the reach to become spiritually over fleshly or good over bad.

By the actions of good works over bad works with the desire to do only good works we discern good works from bad works.

But back to again 1 Corinthians 12:10 “.... to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:”

Divers kinds of tongues is the ability to speak in a language unknown to you, dream in set of pictures without understanding, or have a vision without understanding.

Divers kinds of tongues is number eight and eight stands for new beginning which is what divers kinds of tongues do is show the world you have made a new beginning in your life.

Basically is the spirit trying to show you its there to help you and comfort you but the first sign was when you changed your life style to a believer.

Your friends saw a changed in you and some did not understand what was happing to you but you understood it was Christ entering your life.

Some do not believe in tongues but I am not here to fight over what others believe but I know some think just because they do not understand something it false but we either believe in all parts of God’s gifts or none.

They read 1 Corinthians 13:9-10 “For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.” and they think that which is perfect is the bible.

But that is not true because there no verses about the coming bible but they are all talk about Christ coming back so tongues will not cease until Christ returns.

But back to 1 Corinthians 12:10 “.... to another the interpretation of tongues:” number nine which stands for judgment which is the spiritual interpretation of tongues which is taking a unknown language to a known one.

All of these work together hand and hand as God blesses you and you to take action to move God’s love.

Now back to 1 Corinthians 12:11 “But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.” yes we can operate more than one if we reach for God’s help.

If we read more into 1 Corinthians 12 we see it teaching us not to worry if we are better at using one part over another not to worry.

We all so see how they work while inside a church or around a big group of people to keep things flowing in a orderly matter but you are not all ways in a church setting.

So if you can have faith outside a church setting alone you can operate the others a lone too.
