Jesus/India

"This would be the end of Christianity as we know it..." which in my opinion is exactly what the author would wish. In order to swallow this heresy, one must throw aside every Word of the Lord God Most High. They must ascribe that the Lord Jesus was just a MAN and only a MAN and not the SON OF GOD which the Gospel of John clearly states. John was fighting against gnosticism that was creeping into the church, which coincidentally didn't believe that Jesus died, nor was there a need for a resurrection. This is nothing more than another form of the same gnosticism that is still trying to invade the church. The Scriptures are clear that Joseph and Mary fled to Egypt to escape the terror of Herod in his attempt to kill the Lord Jesus when he was approximately 18-24 months old. Do not the Scriptures attest that the Lord God Most High stated "I will call my son out of Egypt?" It does not say "India" and the Scriptures all lay first person witnesses to the transfiguration, the crucifixion, the resurrection and the Lord meeting His disciples in His new body which was now spiritual. There were over 500 first person witnesses to His ascension as well.

Write this off as HERESY!

Where's the spittoon?

I need to spit...

Maybe perhaps I should ask for the barf bag!

One can attain much through a little with the help of the Holy Spirit.

Whether or not the after crucification stories are true is irrelevant in light of the teachings recorded.

The life of Jesus between 14 and 29 are the most I'm interested in primarily.

What I believe, I have seen, and there is more.

Even if Jesus never left the Palestine area, Jerusalem was a mega trade center for the world.

Filled with many people from the east and these people would be able to teach their beliefs.

I dunno. Let me frame this in the least egotistical manner that I can..

I've been pretty darn frustrated trying to find HIM..

I've figured.. if he knows the path, maybe he just needs to find ME.. that's the whole point of being "lost" is it not?

:)

Are we lost?

....I don't know, not really I think....

....if one can see in a certain perspective, way, direction...

...is it possible to turn one's eye in another and see differently..

perhaps another way and another.....

till these ways start crossing paths into a way of ways

paths of the path, if followed will lead

no fee required, no sweat except to look

when the paths and ways are from minds...

it's the desire to step in that opens them

if it pains to look in the dark for the light

does that not mean something has not been seen yet

perhaps it's always been there...within

waiting to be seen by the turning of sight

a different sound that's always been there

hearing it clearer and in which direction it's coming from

a sound of a trumpet playing a note leads to another note

to some a sweet melody, to some a shout to get the attention

the seals being opened that we have been sealed up for

the fires of of the candles being lit

the voices of angels

the eyes of many seeings

yes, the self usually is intimidated

seeking it's own

loosing the self will find the self

is it I want this and that

or is it let me be shown by another

either it's a lie or not

the comforter

will come

shall teach you all things

the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost,

whom the Father will send in my name,

from which direction will this come?

what is in it's path?

a one time deal?

i think not

the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak

a progressive coming

the old dies and all being new

And yes brideof, lets light it up....

Actually, they're second person accounts if you're referring to I Corinthians 15:6 and assuming that each of the five hundred personally told Paul. It wouyld only be 500 first person accounts if each of those 500 had written down what he had seen.

I would have to disagree with that statement. Whether you are telling an author or a newspaper reporter, you are still giving your first person report of the event even though someone else is writing the article.

Have a Blessed Christmas!
