It would seem that this is not a song which I can remember from one line. ;)
Since I don't know if all of the regulars on this thread have been seeing the lines I've posted so far, I would be curious to know for whoever eventually gets it, how many lines it took.
She's not a girl who misses much
Do do do do do do, oh yeah
She's well acquainted with the touch of the velvet hand
One - but I'm a Beatles fan. I was surprised paw hadn't beaten me to it. I knew it but didn't answer right away cause I wanted to leave someone else the opportunity to play since I'd just played...
I woke up this mornin' with the sundown shinin' in

Yes WordWolf, One of my very favorite songs. Hopes the memories are good ones. Your answer, of course, is spot on. Your go!

I agree with you about "Who's Nect" and äqualung". I'm more familiar with The Doors by their catalog than which song is on what album, but I know enough to know you just mentioned "L.A. WOMA

Yeah! It's actually called "Just Dropped In" but I know you're talking about the same song - Kenny Rogers & the First Edition.

Nope. This is a quirky song, but it got a LOT of airplay.
Here's another line, with the first one corrected:
I was traveling down the road, feeling hungry and cold
I saw a sign saying "Food and drinks for everyone"

Still not it. Here's the rest of the first verse.
I was traveling down the road, feeling hungry and cold
I saw a sign saying "Food and drinks for everyone"
So, naturally,I thought I would take me a look inside.
There was so much food there was water coming from my eyes!

No.
Although the song was usually referred to by its repeated line "I can dance," the actual title is a brief bit of the second verse.
