Just so you know Freelance you don't need to name the group for this thread. The figuring is I guess, that the song is so familiar that you already know who the group is! Groups names belong in the Name that Tune thread.
Obviously I'm toooo far out there again, but fear not. That which seemed to be meant for harm...I meant for good. A nice tune for a Sunday.Lyric starts at 3 min. in.
I'll go again later, not inspired right at the moment.

Yes WordWolf, One of my very favorite songs. Hopes the memories are good ones. Your answer, of course, is spot on. Your go!

I agree with you about "Who's Nect" and äqualung". I'm more familiar with The Doors by their catalog than which song is on what album, but I know enough to know you just mentioned "L.A. WOMA

So that was Fleetwood Mac. Good one. Is this an expression of what you feeling Freelancer or is it another clue?

Okay y'all'
Slight modification and additional info, I looked at cd today and instead of 60's
And now back to the early 70's in the wayback machine.
Silence, then a high ping...ping ...ping...( a high B note)
Long, building notes of instrumental genius.
And then...
Overhead the albatross hangs motionless upon the air,

Was thinking "albatross, who sings that?), was it Ride Like The Wind? That was late 70"s I think.

I'm befuddled with this one. I can remember several lyrics but not the name.
Got me on the run?

Pretty darn close! It's Take It On The Run...REO Speedwagon.
May I hand my turn to you, even if your title wasn't exact?
I am at a loss, I seem to not be on a "popular" wavelength".
Not mainstream enough. I would like to forfeit my turn, and sit down for a while.
Anyway, give a listen, great song.

That's not that memorable I think. So it's ~Tom Petty~ You don't know how it feels.
This one is very memorable.
