Jail House Rock (keeping w/ the r-o-c-k theme), or Garden Party? No, I know these aren't right. I don't know if I can deduce the name without more lyrics George.

I know the song, but can't come up with the title yet. "No one's getting fat cept Mama Cass", and "California Dreamin is becoming a reality" are lines but its name escapes me.

Probably because the title isn't in the lyrics. If WW or Raf doesn't get it, I'll give it to you. You clearly have the correct song.
*hintIt's one of those. The title is something totally different that what's in the song, just like George's last clue. Maybe this will help.. It is on one of ~Bob Dylan's~ early 60's albums, "Bringing It All Back Home" perhaps, my personal favorite.
I figured that if I left only the first line it wouldn't be enough and I figured the second line would be a dead giveaway. I guess I was wrong. I'm trying to remember the album that this song came from. I think it had a page for every song on the album inside the jacket. Or something like that.
Yep. The album in came off of was "Every Picture Tells a Story" and inside as best as I can recall, it was 50+ years ago, was a storybook whether all on a separate page or several pages each song highlighted with artwork about them. Goodbye Yellow Book Road has a similar jacket. You are up George.

Yes WordWolf, One of my very favorite songs. Hopes the memories are good ones. Your answer, of course, is spot on. Your go!

I agree with you about "Who's Nect" and äqualung". I'm more familiar with The Doors by their catalog than which song is on what album, but I know enough to know you just mentioned "L.A. WOMA

I used a lifeline but Mrs. Bean was just as stumped as I was but it eventually came to her.
Stuck In The Middle With You I should have known this. I like this song very much.

Correct. It's Mrs Bean's turn- unless she yields her turn to Mister Human w/o Bean.

Well, since she controls every move I make in that sense she is me. Let's go with:

I Am a Rock
This is only half a line, because the rest contains part of the title:
"Warden threw a party..."

Now that's what they call not getting it. I was going the other way, maybe Sonny & Cher I thought.

Me and Bobby McGee
This one MIGHT be better in Name that Tune, but I suspect that one of you will get this:
"John and Mitchy were gettin' kind of itchy just to leave the folk music behind."

It's "Creeque Alley" (which is why I wasn't too concerned with spelling). Sort of a history of the Mamas and the Papas and the Lovin' Spoonful.
Human's up.

Wow, that name was definitely out of my wheel-house. But, every (good) groups got one.
"Johnny's in the basement mixing up the medicine" *hint It's one of those.

Two more for the price of one. Same song (Maybe this is in the wrong thread?)

You better duck down the alley way
Lookin' for a new friend
The man in the coon-skin cap
In the big pen
Wants eleven dollar bills
You only got ten
Get sick, get well
Hang around a ink well
Ring bell, hard to tell
If anything is goin' to sell

You just don't quite have it yet. I know you know it WordWolf so, I will accept just one correct word from the title. It has three.

How about another then. That was Subterranean Homesick Blues by Robert Zimmerman.
Or steal my daddy's cue and make a living out of playing pool
Or find myself a rock and roll band that needs a helpin' hand
