Billy Joel says he no longer enters piano bars because the piano player will start playing this song if he sees him. Since this song was about Billy's time as a piano player in a piano bar, there's a certain irony to that.

"Drowning in a sea of, where everyone would love to drown"
"Said SARA, you're the poet in my heart, never change, never stop"
Sara ~Fleetwood Mac~
I'm excited because arriving today is the Fleetwood Mac album "Rumours". (I lost it somewhere, anyway I couldn't find it) Sara's not on the album. But it's one of those albums for me that I can play over and over because there's not a bad song on the album. "Who's Next" by The Who, "L A Woman" by The Doors that early 70's, mid 70's rock n' roll music. Aqualung ~Jethro Tull~, Abraxas ~Santana~, were some others.
Next song:
Well, I just got into town about an hour ago Took a look around, see which way the wind blow

I agree with you about "Who's Nect" and äqualung". I'm more familiar with The Doors by their catalog than which song is on what album, but I know enough to know you just mentioned
"L.A. WOMAN"
and then quoted from it.
I heard that Jim Morrison had to be re-interred. He was buried in a cemetery in France, but partiers kept visiting his grave and partying, leaving a mess behind for the groundskeepers to clean up, so they said he couldn't stay anymore. "How big a party animal do you have to be to be thrown out of places decades after you die?"
I'm just not on the same wavelength as you guys. I haven't recognized the last three songs.
George
This current song might possibly be one of the most recognized anthems from the 60's. It may even have been the theme song for the sexual revolution and counter culture of the 60's. Either this one or White Rabbit you can take your pick.

Yes WordWolf, One of my very favorite songs. Hopes the memories are good ones. Your answer, of course, is spot on. Your go!

I think the title is "Maggie May". It's a Rod Stewart song.

I get a little lost sometimes, also. However, I'm not awful with The Doors nor Jefferson Airplane, at least with their hits (more The Doors than JA).
