Well, I always knew it as "Everybody Must Get Stoned." In fact, I googled the lyrics for "Everybody Must Get Stoned" and came up with this song. However, at the end of the lyrics, another title was given, which, I suppose, is the one you want.
Listen closely WordWolf. The words you are hearing in your head are saying "heartbreaker with your forty four, heartbreaker I wanna tear your world apart", How about your up Wolfy! Your turn. Or anyone! Thanks for playing.

Yes WordWolf, One of my very favorite songs. Hopes the memories are good ones. Your answer, of course, is spot on. Your go!

I agree with you about "Who's Nect" and äqualung". I'm more familiar with The Doors by their catalog than which song is on what album, but I know enough to know you just mentioned "L.A. WOMA

No George. It's one of Bob Dylan's songs that he titled something totally different than what the lyrics to the song are about.
No help. Sorry.

In the interest of the game then George I'll let you have it.
Dylan calls it Rainy Day Woman #12 & 35. Not sure why.
Your up.

"Get Ready" has a similar lyric, but that's not this one. Let me add a couple of lines:
Fee, fee, fi, fi, fo-fo, fum
Look at Molly now; here she comes
Wearin' her wig hat and shades to match
She's got high-heel shoes and an alligator hat

I'm unfamiliar with Springsteen's version, as I remember Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels doing it; but yes, correct song.

We're both showing our ages. I didn't know it was a cover.
I used to listen to a block of really moving songs every Friday after 5pm, and that was
a regular song in the block known as the "5 o'clock whistle."

The policeman knew my name.
He said, "You can go sleep at home tonight
If you can get up and walk away."

You are correct. Sometimes, you can see the words; but if you don't hear the tune that goes with them, you could miss it.
You're up.
