I just realized that this isn't the first line of the song. (But it is the first line of the first verse.)

Nah. It doesn't have to be the first line. Ideally, those are the coolest ones (IMO) but it can be from anywhere in the tune as long as it's easily recognized and doesn't contain the title.(example:
