I've been there several times when he'd lead festival crowds weaving and winding through the audience like the pied piper with everybody singing "Boogie" - his boy's an awesome musician too, real good blues and he covers his dad's stuff real well.
Ahhh, one of my favorite memories was standing there at that pilot wheel with Captain John, looking at the Illinois River through his binoculars - that was 1983.

Wow, bowtwi, that's upclose and personal! What a great memory. I've seen him perform at bluegrass festivals and when he toured in small venues. He had a great career and followed his dreams, he was a great performance artist.
