Didn't Carole King help write that song? Ya know, her body of work is truly amazing... I never realized (in my youth) exactly how many of her songs were such a big part of my conscience... did that make sense?
Unfortunately yes. I refuse to answer it cos I always hated that song. Damn you George now it's in my head and it won't leave!!!! I think I need ministering to. GET IT OUTTA MY HEAD!!!!!!!!

Yes WordWolf, One of my very favorite songs. Hopes the memories are good ones. Your answer, of course, is spot on. Your go!

I agree with you about "Who's Nect" and äqualung". I'm more familiar with The Doors by their catalog than which song is on what album, but I know enough to know you just mentioned "L.A. WOMA

As well as Carole King, Neil Diamond wrote a lot for the Monkees. In fact, I believe ND's biggest hit as a songwriter was "I'm a Believer."
You're up, hiway!

True-maybe we should stop with Dylan while we're ahead.

Whenever I have a song stuck in my head, I drive it out with "Blame it on the Bossa Nova." Unfortunately, then I can't get THAT song out!
George
P.S. Here's a hint: ALL the verses begin with "Goodbye."

Here's what I kept confusing dooj's post with....
"I´m a gonna tell ya how it´s gonna be"
This has been covered, BTW, so there's more than one artist, for the curious.
