Mike
I just noticed on the main index that there are over 3000 guests reading the board at this minute. In looking at the "Last Click" list many of these guests area reading relatively nondescript threads, even mere banter. What's this all about? Are we being invaded? Is it merely a software artifact? Rocky
And a half hour later, STILL 3400+ users checking out the GSC. Might have to institute a beeper system for those waiting to be seated at a table, booth or at the counter!

Mike
Would any of those *nondescript threads with mere banter* include the pfal threads?? ;) No, why? What perchance prompted you to pose in prose that proposition?
Mike
Ok, I have a theory. The guests seem to be clustered on certain threads. They may be teams of spambots, looking for e-mail addresses. ?
dmiller
when I heard (read) the words *mere banter* --- the pfal discussion drival immediately came to mind. :) But as usual -- that's just an imho. ;)

Sounds plausible to me. They're gone now anyway. :)

Yes, of course, that's it. They're looking for your address, Mike, so they can contact you personally. That way you can expound to them on a "one-on one" level from the "God-Breathed Word" of POOFLE. (Each one win one) Or, like you say, they could be "googlebots". It's hard to even imagine how many people click onto google in search of "The God Breathed Word of Poofle".
