The god that was made

I think we're all agreeing that this is false.

Where we're disagreeing is where WD keeps saying "vpw didn't teach this",

which means vpw doesn't get the blame for another doctrine of ERROR that he taught.

That's where all the creative reinterpretation and chair stringing has been coming in.

1) God's "moves" were described as done nearly 2000 years ago-long before our lives.

Relative to our lives, God's moves were prologue, preparation, setup.

(Without any of the "stringing chair" fixation of anyone's.)

God then CEASED acting nearly 2000 years ago.

I don't believe his moves were done, you may, nor do I see where they are setup, preparation with the exception maybe of the first part of Genesis. Nor do I believe he ceased in the scripture.

Right.

We all agree this is ERROR.

Where we're disagreeing is, that this came right out of vpw's mouth.

"God already has moved-in Christ Jesus, and He does not move again until you move."

So, we all agree that's error.

God already moved, then He moved some more, and He moves today, and He will move tomorrow,

and my "moves" make an interesting footnote.

cman, I like that... I am the cookie jar. we are earthen vessels after all.

isn't being dead to the flesh a synonym for keeping your parts in balance? then we don't neglect our mortal part but don't let it overwhelm our spiritual part so that by being hungry or proud we forget God. I don't think flesh restricts our spiritual part since it's part of us. I think it can work perfectly because it's cookie jar sized spirit.

I'll have to agree with you potato, with a bit of reservation.

Cause sometimes what we see, think, hear and feel and more,

we may misinterpret what it is or what is happening.

And learn more later, I do anyway, and it seems right to see more as we are shown.

Apart from that, Yes, we are swallowed whole.

And every fiber of our being can be on fire.

...

Thanks for that clip there Sirg, there is so much to learn from the dynamics of the universe.

I like that - we are within God and God is also in us, never separated literally.

I believe what we see in the universe is a reflection of who we and God are,

becoming one, and the changes that take place in every science.

From the center of the earth to the ends of the universe.

...

So yeah the god that twi/vpw made.

This god living somewhere in heaven, apart from us,

which we were never told where this heaven was.

Jesus did many times in many ways.

As well as many others, most of which are crucified figuratively.

I guess Jesus was about 30.

Wonder how he would be treated today?

Reminds me of that movie 'Phenomenon', with John Travolta sort of.

it's true that we see in part, or through a glass, darkly. we are not God, but that doesn't mean our flesh restricts our spirit. I think it means we're not God so we still need God because we are different from God, flesh and soul and spirit. if we were purely spirit as God is spirit then we'd be different than we are, but I don't think that means we're broken, just that we are capable of making mistakes. I think our spirit was designed to work with or in our flesh and it can work just fine, in fact perfectly for what it's designed to do, but it is finite in a way God is not because of everything else we are... I can't begin to understand what the human mind is capable of, but I know it can still only process finite amounts of data. I'd like to think that God is not bound by that limitation.

perhaps this is really a chicken/egg conundrum, and we're saying the same thing, only you say the flesh restricts the spirit, and I say our spirit is designed to work with the flesh.
