doojable
I saw a few of these and I decided to post all 12 so that you could see this amazingly talented, humble, honest musician. I'll post two segments in each post. You can view all or part of the concert. I hope you are as moved as I am each time I hear this man. The 9th and 10th segments are amazing! ex10
Awesome, dooj. I saw him in concert a few times in Indiana, when we lived in Michigan. The day his death was announced on the radio station I listened to out of Indiana, I cried as if he were a friend. What a loss.
dmiller
A week from today (Sept. 19th) is the 10 year anniversary of his fatal accident. 9 days previous to that, he sat down at a piano in an abandoned church, with an old battery powered cassette recorder, and played nine songs into it. That cassette was discovered after his death, and the Jesus Album (with Rich Mullins and the Ragamuffin Band), came into being. He was one of a kind. I just today pulled out my copy of The Jesus Album and listened to it for the first time in a long time. I also like the song "If I Stand" I can't find a video of it tho... Dot Matrix
I sing things like Awesome God and other of his songs -- I listen to FISH radio --now this just how out of it I am - I did NOT know Rich Mullins died
doojable
Dot he died back in 1997 I think. I still cry when I hear some of his songs. "Hard to Get" off the Jesus Album is one of those songs that choke me up every single time. Someday I'd like to get a copy of the video, "Homeless Man."
