polar bear
Can anyone help me find the words to a cover song someone did back in twi days called "Mamas don't let your babies grow up to be Homos". The original was about cowbowy's but I want the words to the one about the homos-just for campfire type fun settings. (No offence to homosexuals). anotherDan
Tom Burke wrote it, and I don't think he is glad that he did. Do you want me to post the lyrics I remember?
WordWolf
Well, I can pm the lyrics to you, but, really, is there a benefit to you having them? Tom hasn't done that one in a very, very long time. I speculate it's part of his embarassing twi days. Since I had some of those as well, I'm willing to let his fade with time. dmiller
Singing those lyrics (would be akin) to singing that twi tune: *Washed in the Blood of the Wicked* (or whatever the title of that song was). I hate to use a line from docvic -- but it seems appropriate here: WHAT'S THE PROFIT??? (I'll leave it at that -- and you draw your own conclusions). :) (EFS -- edited for spelling) Edited September 4, 2007 by dmiller

outintexas
When I was in the twi bubble, I heard the "homo" version over and over. I was unaware of the original Willie Nelson song. Now when I hear Willie's version, my brain wants to sing "homos." Twi ruins everything.
