cman, I've never heard of that... is it on this site or on another site? Sounds like a lot of fun.
Got me to thinking how I think it costs me nothing to make a conference call evenings or weekends with my cell. I'd have to check. But I could see you and me and Wrds and Abi (yadayada) getting together by phone some time.
Have you listened to some of the phone conversations Paw has put up on GS radio?
Oh and Dot, you can use your telephone to call into a broadcast or episode when it's live.
anyway i got this email today-
TalkShoe Members and Friends,
We wanted you to be the first to know about an important announcement TalkShoe is making today about our new ShoePhone service. It's now available as an integral part of TalkShoe Live and it's free for unlimited use. ShoePhone makes connecting with other people quick and easy from anywhere on the planet – just one click to connect using a computer headset.
Unlike any other service, with ShoePhone people can connect for free with others using standard telephones, mobile phones, and other voice-over-IP (VoIP) services such as Skype, SJphone, and Gizmo.
You can read the official press release online. We’d appreciate if you would help spread the word in your blogs, emails, etc. Thanks.

Still don't see it working like skype but will wait and see.
I am interested but my problem has been that I forget when they are scheduled (even when they are set for a regular time each week) -- it just always seems to be when I'm not at home!
I do still want to join in, though.
I'll make a bigger effort. It will be my New Year's Resolution.

Sorry to hear that Dot, but you can listen without speakers.
It's pretty cool imo.
Though there are other podcasts types this one also has a chat feature built in, so you can speak too.
In other words without speakers one can still participate.

Here's the link-
http://www.talkshoe.com/talkshoe/web/talkNow.jsp
And it's recorded, most of it, so you can listen to past episodes.
Just type in Greasespot in the search and you can find them.
Also I think there's links in the Greasepot Radio section on GSC's main page.

Is one scheduled for today?
If not, when is the next one?
I have really enjoyed being a part of them.

I enjoy talkshoe most of the time.
There have been days when I could not participate...but it was because life does tend to catch up with me at times.
