I wouldn't mention "hooks" around Eyes - she gets nervous!
Oh yeh! What was that all about anyway? But remember I'm a full figured Shark...better be a big hook! And I dont think that bisquits and gravy will stay on the darn thing so...woo hoo no catching the shark today!!!
Oh and Rick....I think Kathy put the $20 bucks on the hook....She thought I was cheap! <_< Naughty girl!
It's been 30 years since I've seen Watered Garden (or her other half) and close to 35 since I've seen Linda Z.
And, ChattyKathy purposely blinded me with the glare from her red cowboy boots so I would have no idea what she looks like.
It's kinda scary, really, to think we may have all been in the same line at Burger Biggie today ordering our Biggie Burgers and not even recognized each other.
Holy catzenjammers!
It just dawned on me that maybe that's why they gave us all those nametags!
Yeah, Yeah! Now I get it.
Someone at the upper level at HQ had heavy revvy this day would come and that's the reason for the nametags.
A couple of years ago, there was an "I think excathedra is hot" thread, where I posted that I tend to picture people as their avatars, so excie will always be a saucy redhead to me, and Radar O'Reilly will always be a big blue face! Someone who knew both of them said that excie looked like Julia Roberts and Radar like Uma Thurman. (Or was it the other way around? Either way works for me!) Excie once posted that she was rather petite.
It wa fun meeting some of the Greasespotters at the BBQ last year. I wouldn't have recognized Tom Strange or Pawtucket (though his voice was a dead giveaway); but Doojable looked almost exactly as I would have guessed. I look forward to meeting some others this November!
I doubt you would want me to sing happy birthday Mr. President though.

You can't even put a biscuit on a hook if it's been soaked in gravy so you are gonna starve there Ms. Sharky.
Uh huh, naughty-R-me.
And $20 bucks won't even get a smile.

Will you help keep her in the deep end?

I saw some purple ones at the thrift store the other day but they were a whole size too small. :(
I almost always have a mental image of people I communicate with. I think it comes from years of working on the phone with folks I never got to meet in person.
Let's see....
Chas, I thought Chas was tall - 5'7" - 5'9", thin like a model, shoulder length blond hair and beautiful. Uma Thurman-ish... Could have something to do with the name sounding 'plucky' and the fact that I have always looked for her posts.
Actually, Chas is 5'8" but built like a brick house. I do sometimes act like a blond - but I'm a red head - and keep my hair very short - sorta like Annie Lennox.
I've posted this pic before - if I can find a better one, I'll post it. It's just that I'm usually on the OTHER side of the camera.
I think that Oakspear properly identified the first picture that was posted - and I suspect that that guy is a jeweler that has been searching for someone for a long time to return a WOW pin and a dove ring (or some jewelry...)
I was a sophmore in high school when M-TV aired its first music video. U2 was (IMO anyway) at its best shortly after I graduated. I cannot attend a reunion function without having to endure the torture of Rock Lobster. :)
Ah, so there is a difference. In my Sophmore year, Kurt Cobain killed himself and changed the music scene of my generation permanently.

So here's the next Greasespot poster. I won't name him either but welcome folks to give hints (but not his name) if they know..
MY hint is that he is married to another Greasespotter....

You are such a cool guy. I am sure all who read you can see it. You have such a gentle soul and contagious wit about you.
(there is a bad storm overhead so I am closing her down now)

Great looking family! Looks like they would keep you busy.
Does your hubby have red hair too? Looks like it in the pic but I can't tell for sure.

Wow, that's not how I pictured Oakspear! For some reason I've always imagined him wearing a green hat.

The second pic....
I need another clue...
Was he once a New Yorker?

Wow Sudo, I think I remember meeting him at one of the roasts, but I can't seem to put a name to the face. ;)

So perhaps he's a Joisey man...a man who likes "verbs"... a man who likes latex gloves?
