pond
I think Gods love is unconditional. It is redemption that is conditional God gives us a choice to choose. it is HIs peoples CHOICE, not Gods, whether we will live in the kingdom WE chose Jesus Christ as Lord and we have life eternaly SAVED! Saved from what ? the choice the first Adam made for mankind, adam chose sin and to disobey God one instruction. adam made that choice for ALL of us then seeing as he was the only creation he blew it big time for all of us. Jesus Christ is the SECOND Adam the second man God gave a choice too. He accomplished Gods will and redeemed mankind with the choice to obey God all of the time and give his life for us. God is love, he created us to love and worship HIM . But He wanted us to chose it . the conditions on our relationship were manmade in the garden of eden and they are manmade today , Gods will is we all are blessed and know His deep abiding love for us. Do we believe and confess the man Jesus christ is Gods Son and that he was raised to live forever as our LORD. do we believe God loves that man and even us THAT MUCH? that is the condition, if we can not or refuse to believe that God is able to put mankind with HIM in the kingdom and give us a Lord that will die for us and all the while making God very proud and happy to the [point he overcame DEATH and raised him beyond what we have today on earth. the truth of God and His love isnt conditional but it is a choice each man or woman has to make freely to believe how much He is in love with us with Jesus christ as our example and Lord . some will not choose to believe the records of redeeming our lifes some will deny the Lord Jesus christ as a man raised from the very power of death. not a condition a choice. cman
If love is 'conditional' then it's not love but a business arrangement. Generally speaking I'd say.
