I don't know the name of this song, but I really like it. I met this band a few years back at a campout/canoe trip/jam to celebrate John Hartford's life - it had been 5 years since he'd passed away. Next June will mark 10 years and there's going to be another party that we're planning on attending. As new information is decided upon it will be posted at www.johnhartford.org.
Bawn in the Mash is a Kentucky bluegrass band and they loved John Hartford too. They're really very good in my not so humble...
you can see their shadows wandering off somewhere, they won't make it home but they really don't care, they wanted the highway, their happier there today . . . todayyy

"All I Have to Do is Dream" and "Cathy's Clown".
The unbelievable irony of the juxtaposition of these two songs can only be apparent to me and one other person...

Sorry - I didn't doublecheck the link I posted last night. I don't know why I can't post songs here anymore.
The song I wanted to share was by a band named Bawn in the Mash. Here is the link (doublechecked).

reading it without living it
that's the golden prison we can always find
living in stories and living in books
or we can live and leave all the stories behind

Everyone always thought of Stevie Nicks as the "pretty one", but I always liked Christine McVie...
(don't ask me what Mick Fleetwood is doing with a towel on his head)
Here's the studio version.

This is just a great song...it is a ballad in the traditional sense, but with a fearsome tex-mex riff. Great chorus, too.
