This is one of the most beautiful tunes I've heard in a long time.
The older I get, the more I appreciate "contemplative music". This fills the bill nicely. To be able to pick like this and ruminate about life at the same time would be Heaven on Earth (imo).
You pickers out there most likely know what I'm talking about, eh?
Thanks for reposting that Dave-If no one has figured it out I am a huge Harvey Reid fan..All of his stuff is always high quality and enjoyable to listen to.
is a nice tasteful version of an old standard "Danny Boy"
I was driving home this morning tuned into the local station that plays "Alternative" music. They tend to play the same songs over and over (Sometime around Midnight is a good example, great song but tiring after the 405th listen) Well they played a song I hadn't heard before with a strong percussion theme. It was called, Percussion Gun by the White Rabbits. Here it is. Reminds me of Cozy Powell's, Dancing with the Devil.
Paw - I love that - it's edgy and different. Very worthy of a checking out on iTunes....
DMiller - your post made me think of one of my favorite guitarists and a musician who lives right here in NH... we've seen him in concert a few times... I've heard this song used in a memorial... great song.
