Well yes, I just hit the Big "five-o". Oh man, half a century!! But I'm feeling pretty good this morning. Woke up to the wife singing the Beatles' "Today's yer Birthday"! And then, down for coffee and checking the GSCafe, I got to see and hear Paul McCartney sing it to me too! And thanks all of you!
Kevin
P.S.
Man that pic of me on my 21st b day seems like it was soooo long ago...
Is that REALLY a pic of you? Hey, 29 years ago WAS soooo long ago!
Glad it was a happy day JL... :)
Yeah... NOW you can join AARP! congrats on making it to the almost half-way point.
Happy Birthday Johnny Lingo! 50 is a great number!
(I'll be there in about 8 months too)
Indeed 50 IS a great number... in fact, on Letterman tonight, this foxy looking woman was guest... and said that in December, she'll be 70 (yes, SEVENTY!)
Of course, she's not necessarily that popular with some folks (like JL)... but still is outrageously gorgeous (her initials are JF)...
50 is young (at least younger for some of us here).

Rocky -- you forgot to add a link documenting your claim.
Now HOW do I KNOW that :
A.) She was gorgeous;
B.) On the Letterman show; and
C.) her initials are JF ???
You've provided nothing but hearsay, and undocumented at that.
:)
(Just messing with ya -- but with a grain of truth as well).
Mine's Saturday Johnny, the 12th. I hope you got some great memories out of this birthday. Right now the birthday I have the best memories of is my 18th. I hope this year will be high on the list.
Yeah, I have some great memories from this one Tommy, including this thread. Really, it blessed my heart to read here these b-day wishes. I hope that yours will be a most excellent day!
It's weird because I was having such a fun day here that day then whamo the news came on and it was official. We had gone to war that very day. More and more I see no good reason for war. It simply sucks.

Shucks Garth -- 50 is young (at least younger for some of us here).
(And the only ads I see at the bottom of the page --
are dealing with another topic entirely).

Ahhhhh. I wish it had been a thread war instead.
Feelings hurt, no lives lost. That sort of thing.
Now I'm sorry I asked. :(
