Fellow 8th corps and fellow Philly WOW on our interim year 1978-79. Havent seen or heard his name mentioned once in all the years Ive been around Waydale/Greasespot.
Lifted Up -- I knew Ed back in 1975. He was in my twig in Bloomington, Indiana.
He and Jim Mc*ee were music students at IU back then.
If I recollect correct -- Ed played cello.
He tried to play my fiddle one time, and couldn't get it --
because his fingers were coming *at him*, instead of *away from him*,
to access the higher notes on the instrument.
So he put my fiddle between his knees (as you would do with a cello),
and played it beautifully!!!
He's living in B-town, Indiana. (Nice house out in the country).
About a year ago, I stopped by his house to say hi (haven't seen him in 30 years),
but he wasn't there, though I did get to say hi to his wife.
I'm headed for Indiana on Easter Sunday.
If you want to say hi to him -- PM me with your name,
Yea, I sent that PM, but a little too late. I didnt mention I also knew Ed before the corps at Indy. And, I'll never forget how during that Philly WOW year, the 6th/8th corps sister pair (they were actually sisters) who ran the non WOW Philly branch, complained to Ed and me about why we never asked them out.

Nope -- I got it in time. Saw Ed today, and he remembered you immediately.
He called you the "memory monster", or something like that!

Anyhoo -- he has your e-mail address. :)
If you see Ed again ... ask him if he remembers running in the mornings summer of '75 :) I think we did a little coffee house at his folks house once. They had two grand pianos in one room as I recall. Quite the talented fellow ... and he ran pretty well too. Of course he was always so dam positive and energetic ... LOL

I'll say he ran well. We had a touch football game that year in Phily. Ed was the opposing QB but he didnt pass much. he was very tough to catch.
Thanks David. Yea, I did pretty well on memorizing scripture.
