I remember hearing the kids sing this one in childrens' fellowship in the early to mid '80's.
Maybe a tape or Way Mag. or something like that would have the words to it.
Anybody who ran a C.F. remember?
Sorry, that's all I've got.
Still remember "Roll Away",though.(Hard to forget after singing it a ZILLION! times. <_< )
"Every burden on my heart--------ummmmm------Whatever."

The B-I-B-L-E!
Yes, THAT'S the book for ME!
I stand upon the Word of God!
The B-I-B-L-E.
BIBLE!!!
(with hand motions)
and
Zacheus was a wee little man.
A wee little man was he.
He climbed up in a sycamore tree,
for the Lord he wanted to see.
And as the Savior passed that way
He looked up in the tree
And He said, Zacheus, you come down
for I’m goin’ to your house today.
For I’m goin’ to your house today!

We're standing on the W-O-R-D
Clap your hands. . .
Cause we're a FAM-A-LY
The Word is the will of G-O-D
Hand-in-hand on The Word we will stand.
I'll teach you what I know
and together we will grow
Clap your hands. . .
along The Way
Stand up and sing this song
you can all sing along
It is a hap-py day!
We're standing on the W-O-R-D
Clap your hands. . .
Cause we're a FAM-A-LY
The Word is the will of G-O-D
Hand-in-hand on The Word we will stand.
The Word is the will of G-O-D
Hand-in-hand on The Word we will stand.

Sung ad infinitum as an indication the meal is over and it's time to clear the tables.
Of course it would be just awful to simply say, "The meal is over and it's time to clear the tables."

Rise and Shine
(Children of the Lord)
(The Arky Arky Song)
Written By: Unknown
The Lord said to Noah:
There’s gonna be a floody, floody
The Lord said to Noah:
There’s gonna be a floody, floody
Get those children out of the muddy, muddy
Children of the Lord
Rise and shine
And give God the glory, glory
Rise and shine
And give God the glory, glory
Rise and shine
And give God the glory, glory
Children of the Lord
The Lord told Noah
To build him an arky, arky
The Lord told Noah
To build him an arky, arky
Build it out of gopher barky, barky
Children of the Lord
Rise and shine
And give God the glory, glory
Rise and shine
And give God the glory, glory
Rise and shine
And give God the glory, glory
Children of the Lord
He called for the animals,
They came in by twosie, twosies
He called for the animals,
They came in by twosie, twosies
Elephants and kangaroosie, roosies
Children of the Lord
Rise and shine
And give God the glory, glory
Rise and shine
And give God the glory, glory
Rise and shine
And give God the glory, glory
Children of the Lord
It rained and it poured
For forty daysie, daysies
It rained and it poured
For forty daysie, daysies
Almost drove those animals crazy, crazies,
Children of the Lord
Rise and shine
And give God the glory, glory
Rise and shine
And give God the glory, glory
Rise and shine
And give God the glory, glory
Children of the Lord
Then Noah he sent out
He sent out a dovey dovey
Noah he sent out
He sent out a dovey dovey
Dovey said “There’s clear skies abovey-bovey”
Children of the Lord
Rise and shine
And give God the glory, glory
Rise and shine
And give God the glory, glory
Rise and shine
And give God the glory, glory
Children of the Lord
The sun came out and
It dried up the landy landy
The sun came out and
It dried up the landy landy
Everything was fine and dandy, dandy
Children of the Lord
Rise and shine
And give God the glory, glory
Rise and shine
And give God the glory, glory
Rise and shine
And give God the glory, glory
Children of the Lord
The animals they came off
They came off by three-sies three-sies
Animals they came off
They came off by three-sies three-sies
Grizzly bears and chimpanzee-sies zee-sies
Children of the Lord
Rise and shine
And give God the glory, glory
Rise and shine
And give God the glory, glory
Rise and shine
And give God the glory, glory
Children of the Lord.
That is the end of,
The end of my story, story
That is the end of,
The end of my story, story
Everything is hunky dory, dory
Children of the Lord
Rise and shine
And give God the glory, glory
Rise and shine
And give God the glory, glory
Rise and shine
And give God the glory, glory
Children of the Lord

"Of couse it would be just awful to simply say"-----"The meal is over and it's time to clear the tables."
Oh she sailed away
on a sunny,sunny day
on the back of a crocadile
"You see",said she,"he's as tame as he could be."
"I'll ride him down the Nile."----------------
The only thing that made this one OK for me was that the person who always led it had a heart of gold.(at least in my opinion)
Well the croc winked his eye
As she waved them all "goodbye"
*
*
*
*
At the end of the ride
the lady was inside
And the smile was on the crocadile
HMMM!-----Me thinks I feel a metaphor approaching!

Yes, but Watered Garden, did you also do the Calypso roll-away?
I wish I could remember who started it, (13th and 15th corps in-rez at Emporia). Funnier than heck, and almost everyone participated.
Rooooollll away. Oh - oh - oh - OOOOOOLLLL away.
Every burden of me heart, it roll away
Every sin she got to go 'neath the chrimson flow...
After that people started coming up with the New York roll-away, etc. Never woulda been allowed in the 90's!!

When Johnny put the paper on the wall
He put the parlor paper in the hall
he papered up the stairs
he papered all the chairs
he even put a boarder on grandma's shawl
When Johnny put the paper on the wall
he spilled a pot of paste upon us all
and now we stick together
like birds of a feather
Since Johnny put the paper on the wall

I've got the joy
I've got the joy, joy, joy, joy down in my heart, (where?)
down in my heart, (where?), down in my heart,
I've got the joy, joy, joy, joy down in my heart, (where?) down in my heart to stay.
I've got the peace that passes understanding down in my heart
I've got the love of Jesus, love of Jesus, down in my heart
I've got the wonderful love of my blessed redeemer way down in the depths of my heart

In a cabin in a wood..
By a ----- a little man stood
Saw a rabbit hopping by
Knocking at the door
"Help me! Help me! Help me!" He said.
Or that man will shoot me dead.
Little rabbit come inside.
Safely to abide..
Has absolutely NOTHING to do with the Bible - maybe that's why I like it!
That - and "Little Bunny Foo Foo" ;)

Oh my.
I hadn't heard those two songs since the "night owls" in Fellowlaborers.
Oh, she sailed away on a sunny, sunny day---------------------
Had to edit that because, although most people know what "songs" are, few, if any, know what "sopngs" are.

Nope, never did the Calypso roll away - that would have been way too much excitement for us little FLO-bots!
And if that song was led by the sweet lady I think I remember, she did indeed have a heart of gold.
