Like an Eagle. I had already had my AC status stripped from me by then. I left 2 years later. I refused to shell out the money to take that class again just to be reinstated. Now I am glad I didn't go.

I am trying to follow all of this...but how do they "strip" your AC status during this particular class? Was it live? I must be getting too old for this, but I think having your parents there must have been a bit awkward?

The AC Status was in response to Like and Eagle's post. Nothing to do with CF& S

It was embarassing especially when I found out what masterbation was and realized I already practiced that act. tee hee hee.

Man it's been a long time. I took CFS and didn't remember the pics you guys talk about. I heard about the porn movies vpw said he kept for instructing corps not to be blown away by people with problems.

Guess they were instructive alright.

It was instructive alright, right down to positions and pictures of foreplay and afterglow. Nekked bodies all accross that tv screen. By 12 I knew a bunch of positions. roflmao And to hear VPW say dick cock and all the other slang words made me red in the face at 12.

LCM actually gave that topic a little class as compared to VPW. Too bad neither of them practiced what they preached with their wives.

Free at Last, I took CF&S with my mom, too. At least I was 19. But it was really embarrassing for me. I felt like I was sitting with my mom at the porn show watching the nickle movies. Craziness! Then we would split into two groups (men and women) and talk or ask questions about what we saw. Like either my mother or I would ask anything!

I pretty much hated all the other classes, except "Renewed Mind." I still use a lot of the stuff I learned in that class.

Hated Christian Family and Sex.

I am still not sure what he means by the pear on the gound and about the masterbation thing...

I mean, WTF? I think he was just an idiot trying to warm up the ladies for a drink in the couch.

Hated that class.

I aslo hated I mean HATED the Greek class in the corps, no offense to the man who taught it and posts here - I believe. He was a nice man. I just did not get it.

WEll I have to say I loved Witnessing and Undershepherding. Donnie was an awesome teacher of the word. he was so simple and so loving and no one could pray as effectively as he. He was a personal friend of mine and everytime we prayed together we got results. He had been involved in my life from a very young age and when I was in residence I couldn't have survived without him. **tears**

I had no idea we could be dropped from "Advanced Class Grad status." LOL! I was an Advanced Class grad of '86 at Emporia. I still have my diploma from the class...am I supposed to RETURN IT?

Oh my God...I am also an Intermediate Class Grad! That's where I learned to use the manifestations! Oh my God! I can't manifest anymore! I've lost the power!

Oh my God! I am a PFAL grad! I learned to speak in tongues there and I have a diploma! Do I have to give the diploma back? Oh my God! I just felt the POWER sucked right out of me! I can't speak in tongues now!

So how do I get it all back?! Do I insult a new believer! Reprove someone on the street! Commit adultery? Will God recognize me then?

Then there's the Christian Family and Sex class...well...they can take that back.

Hey, isn't it appropriate, that if they take all this stuff "back", that we get our money BACK?!

Wave the American flag!

Martindale mandated that all Advanced Class grads take his Advanced class, which he still called the Advanced Class on Power for Abundant Living. He had it run at Rome City two years running. After hearing that there were still AC grads who hadn't taken it, he decreed that if you weren't a grad of his class, you would not be considered an Advanced class grad and would not have any of the "priveleges" of being an AC grad.

Later, when Martindale came up with the new new class, aka The Advanced Class on the Way of Abundance and Power, he again decreed that only grads of the new new class would be considered grads. At least this one was run "on the field" for grads of the old new class; one weekend a month for four months. Although for us, we still had to travel; we didn't have a Limb Coordinator, so we had to drive to South Dakota.

Even though I missed a few sessions, I still graduated and was awarded my new blue nametag. (Later, after I started psoting on Waydale I wore my old green nametag and was reproved for it  )

I wonder if we are still listed as corps? Or did they burn us in some ritual?

Last I knew.........there were three classifications for corps:

...1) Active Corps.....those who were actively taking yearly assignments and doing the requirements.

...2) Corps Alumni....those corps who no longer were meeting all the "active corps" requirements and yet, stood with twi. Martindale labeled them as "the best advanced class grads in the state" or something like that.

...3) DFAC........Dropped from Active Corps [amd generally slandered during a phone hook-up corps meeting so that all other corps would talk to you and possibly, exit twi as well.]

Dot.....the "ritual" is an in-house character assassination of a corps' reputation wherein flat-out lies are told by the mog to keep twi blameless. The man who holds the microphone.........RULES.

So thankful for the internet.....and GS. :)

I took that last class but that's the one the decided we weren't good enough to finish and we were told we could no longer have AC privileges and were M&A for 6 months which ended up being 8 months.
Funny thing, neither my oldest son, nor me or my ex-wife attended every session, but we were graduated anyway.

My son was sick as a dog, but went up to SD anyway, ended up going to the emergency room and missing most of the sessions over the weekend. I was told to teach him the sessions that he missed.

On another weekend, another son was screwing around and got something in his eye. My ex-wife stayed in Lincoln with until about halfway through the weekend, I missed the first session because I was at the doctor's with him.

Of course, we were "confronted" about allowing "The Adversary" to rip us off from "the greatness of The Word".

that class was disgusting and had absolutly nothing to do with biblcal research and teaching

:offtopic: Well then... Interesting...

And the Way clergy.... Are all the ones that left defrocked? Cause I gotta tell you there are some (here) I think have a ministry. Can they retain status or be reordained by another group?

back to bad classes and such...
