Super Bowl food. I gotta' tell you guys though that I'm upset that the Super Bowl is on late Sunday afternoon. Who wants to party then? Its a WORK day on Monday. Why in the world couldn't the NFL move that game to Saturday??? Probably "money" has to play in it somehow because there would be no competition from anything else on TV.
But the goodies that are served?? Yeah.. I personally love Carol's clam dip. But would LOVE to find a great crab dip.
We ended up having subs and fries. I had to work a lot this weekend, so munchies were actually supper for us.
I grilled a cheese & garlic sausage that I got at a local meat market where they make their own. I heated up some leftover spaghetti sauce and added mushrooms to it. Then I layered sausage, sauce, and pizza blend shredded cheese on a sub roll and put it under the broiler to get it all bubbly and toasty. Served with baked fries - YUM.

I like making Focacia sandwiches,
The herbed w/dried tomato is good.
slice horizontily
pull out a thin layer of excess bread
layer:
lettuce, tomatoe, salami, cheeses, and what ever pleases the taste bud, honey mustard or mayo
this can be diversified according to your cravings
slice into wedges
Artichoke Dip
2 jars of artichoke hearts (not in oil)
1/4-1/2 cp mayo
1/2 mozzerella
1/4 Parm chees
1 clove of garlic
mix and bake (375) about 35 - 40 min in oven till golden brown
serve with triskets or any type of minibreads
