Re:"...the weenie roast they have down south sounds like a lot of fun maybe we could plan one here? what do you think?"
Naw... I think you guys should make a bigger effort to come down here for the weenie roasts. We'll teach you a thing or two about outdoors cooking. And having fun by Southern waters.
I like Onion's idea - Clams and Lobsta! Let's do a Lobsta Bake!
Count in Chas & Mathman & Kristopher & Andreas.
After school is out - mid June - would be best for us. We'd also be up for anytime there's a school vacation or long weekend, but wouldn't be able to sleep outside if its too cold, since we have some young 'uns.
I want to go to this weenie roast because I have never been there and I want to meet Greasespotters, people who I have spoken to and have never personally met, unless of course I recognize them from TWI. I also want to introduce my wife to everyone. When and where will this weenie roast be?
Yep... we'd be up for chipping in on the portapotty rental. (Although Andreas is still in diapers and Kristopher would be tickled to pee on the rocks...)
Chef... are there other 'camps' nearby? ...or places to stay? Before this is over I'm thinking you're going to have more than you can handle... hmmm, a little excursion up to Maine during the summer? ...a nice break from the heat of Texas I'd reckon...

i think a good place to have it would be at my friends camp on rangley lake maine
it's beautiful and so is the area{goggle it] we have room for about 12 inside and the same outside if you bring tents
the best part? free!
well if there turns out to be a bunch of us maybe we could chip in and rent a porta potty
we are on a septic system so we have to watch it
did i mention we are on the lake with 210 feet of frontage
oh and the canoe and paddle boat and the big party boat too!!

I'd LOVE an authentic - genuine lobstah and clam bake!
I've only had one in my whole lifetime and that was just one short year or so ago. It was YUMMILICIOUS!
THAT'S BEAUTIFUL!!! What a loverly place for a weenie roast that's really a clam bake!
Hey, the Texas weenie roast was a BBQ - It's the gathering of greasespots that makes the event.

I can also take you gold panning in the Swift River on your way up to Rangely. It's right along the side of the road where the gold is.
