Dot Matrix
Oh my God I loved it. I LOVED it! People in the audience were clapping at different songs... GREAT Of course my hubs who hates musicals hated it -- but what they hey --- I think he is WRONG
GarthP2000
Isn't the movie about Diana Ross and the Supremes?
Dot Matrix
Suppose to be loosely based on them -- but it sure didn't seem LOOSELY based. Eddie Murphy is great in it and plays a James Brown type guy. One of the "rejects" from American Idol has the female lead and she is AWESOME. Hard to sit still in your seat! Beyonce looks like Ross in it... It made me cry and laugh. I loved and hated people. It was stirring. And if you like old Motown tunes it will thrill you! In my opinion the girl all the way to the right has a bigger part than Beyonce Edited January 6, 2007 by Dot Matrix
Dot Matrix
Here is Eddie Murphy he will probably be up for an oscar along with Will Smith (Pursuit of Happyness) If it is too big I will have to remove it
polar bear
Great movie if you like R&B. Heart wrenching music from beginning to end.

ex10
So it's worth seeing for the music?
Belle
Definitely, Ex! I got to see it on Broadway and LOVED it! If the movie is half as good as the actual live show (and I hear it is) - you'll have goosebumps on your goosebumps. I'm cheap, though, I'll wait for it to come out on Netflix.
