Yeppers - Christian etiquette as taught by TWI was working overtime when the Holocaust survivor came to speak at their high school.
Bow, when I went to the AC in 1996 Mrs. Owens said TWI taught etiquette because they HAD to - all those ragamuffin, nasty, dirty, pathetically ignorant hippies were taking over and they needed to learn how to work and live like civilized people.
it was one of lcm's tirades at one of the latter RoA's. and yes, he had quite a lot to say about how pathetic it was that in a contest where the best of america's females compete, that a deaf girl was not only allowed to compete, but actually won. I believe he explicitly said we're weakening the human race by accepting such deformities as normal and making way for them to do what normal people do. if it wasn't explicit, it was certainly strongly implied.
maybe others remember that... uh... "teaching" and can add their recollections.

That’s nothing, Vegan – I remember a Corps Night teaching in residence LCM referring to the Special Olympics athletes as “freaks of nature.”
