Wrong, sir! Wrong! Under section 37B of the contract signed by him, it states quite clearly that all offers shall become null and void if - and you can read it for yourself in this photostatic copy - "I, the undersigned, shall forfeit all rights, privileges, and licenses herein and herein contained," et cetera, et cetera..."Fax mentis incendium gloria cultum," et cetera, et cetera..."Memo bis punitor delicatum!" It's all there, black and white, clear as crystal! You stole fizzy lifting drinks. You bumped into the ceiling which now has to be washed and sterilized, so you get nothing! You lose! Good day sir!
Summer romances begin for all kinds of reasons, but when all is said and done, they have one thing in common. They're shooting stars, a spectacular moment of light in the heavens, fleeting glimpse of eternity, and in a flash they're gone.

The summer love quote has to be The Notebook.
I yield my turn to Rocky.
Oh... sorry. Well, I don't see that many movies... so, I'll only occasionally play.

I'm guessing that WW won't mind my adding a clue: the movie starred Danny Kaye. George

Once again, you posted a quote from a movie, where you could have posted 1/2 the script without me getting it, except for the one quote you posted. This was from early on in "Red Dawn."

The quote about the olives sounds very familiar, but I can't place it yet...

Somebody needs to answer this one. Come on, it's painless!
Here's another quote:
"I wonder how such a degenerated person ever reached a position of authority in the Army Medical Corps."
"He was drafted."

I was thinking "as opposed to the tv show, which I know much better."
==============
Ok, another movie, let's see....
"No way out.
No way out.
No way out.
No way out.
No way out."
"Let's assume, just for the moment, that you are a dishonest man."
"Assume away."

"Ooh, I fell on my keys! "
"About six months... but I'm on probation, so it's all good, baby!"
"No, I mean, what do you do best?"
"I can't do that here. That's why they put me away, baby! "
"He who signs a lease must pay rent. That's the law."
"You miserable wretch! How dare you take the last penny out of a poor man's pocket?"
"I have to. I'm a landlord."
"Oh, Lord, hear my plea; destroy him! He maketh a blight on the land!"
"Don't listen to him; he's crazy. "
I'm confident SOME of you saw it, and you've all heard of it.
And remember to be specific....

"Be specific" means it's either a sequel or a remake, or an original that's had a sequel or remake.
Some of the lines are somewhat familiar, while others are VERY familiar. So I'll go with...
The Producers non musical version, the one with Gene Wilder and whatshisname.

Correct, correct, and Zero Mostel.
This was Mel Brooks' first movie. Bialystock was based on an actual producer-
one who conned little old ladies out of money for his show-"Cash".
Supposedly, each Mel Brooks movie has a reference to this one after-
like Blazing Saddles playing the notes from "Springtime for Hitler",
and Spaceballs mentioning Kafka (whose book "the Metamorphosis" was one of
the scripts they rejected) and "metamophosis" together.
Go, Raf!

"I can't make out whether you're a bloody madman or just half-witted."
"I have the same problem, sir."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"I'm promoting you Major."
"I don't think that's a very good idea."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"What is your name?"
"My name is for my friends. None of my friends is a murderer!"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Nothing is written."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Truly, for some men nothing is written unless THEY write it."
