"Naked blonde walks into a bar with a poodle under one arm, and a two-foot salami under the other. The bartender says, I guess you won't be needing a drink. Naked lady says..."
Hint: the joke has no punch line. The writers never finish it, and the character telling it ... well, something happens to distract him.
I find falling thru a suspended ceiling VERY distracting, myself.
I was also ticked to find out that Judd Nelson improvised these lines while climbing thru the library
ceiling in "the Breakfast Club"-which meant there wasn't a complete joke, and thus, no punch line.
(At least, that's what AMC said when they aired this with trivia included.)
This film was in the Guinness Book Of World Records for "Top Budget:Box Office Ratio" (for a mainstream feature film). The film cost $22,000 to make and made back $240.5 million, a ratio of $1 spent for every $10,931 made.
Technically, the above is incorrect. It's the BOTTOM cost:box office ratio, which makes it the TOP box office:cost ratio. But I'm persnickety that way.
Human beings were not meant to sit in little cubicles staring at computer screens all day, filling out useless forms and listening to eight different bosses drone on about about mission statements.

I'm guessing that WW won't mind my adding a clue: the movie starred Danny Kaye. George

Once again, you posted a quote from a movie, where you could have posted 1/2 the script without me getting it, except for the one quote you posted. This was from early on in "Red Dawn."

No.
I do not believe we've mentioned THIS movie in this thread yet.
(And "Blues Brothers" was gotten pretty quick when I tried it.)

"Let's do an equipment check."
"Right. I have a bag of Utz and a beer."
"How the HELL are you this morning?"
"Tired."
"We have enough battery power to run a small third-world country here."
This movie made the Guiness Book of World Records.

Hee hee: I was right.
