One more fun quote and then I'll give some with give away character names!
"They uh, was givin' me ten thousand watts a day, you know, and I'm hot to trot. The next woman takes me out is gonna light up like a pinball machine, and pay off in silver dollars.
you actually PAID to see this film? I'm not gonna guess because that would be admitting that I saw it as well (didn't pay for it though!)... instead, I think I'll go and grill up some Nathan's! (heh heh, get it?)

Crimson Tide?

I'm guessing that WW won't mind my adding a clue: the movie starred Danny Kaye. George

Once again, you posted a quote from a movie, where you could have posted 1/2 the script without me getting it, except for the one quote you posted. This was from early on in "Red Dawn."

I'm sure most of you have seen or heard of it. Many oscars and nominations and very character driven story.

"One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest"?

I have one more guess if that isn't it.

You got it -- 1st quote spoken by "Chief" Bromden, all the others were by "Mac" McMurphy (Jack Nicholson).
You're up!

Okay, this movie is a bit obscure. No Oscar nominations, for sure. I did, however, see it in a theater, as opposed to "Traxx." ;)-->

Was that the movie where the guy bragged about his breakfast
towards the end? "I had sunny-side up..."

Yes it was, actually! Here are two more lines, before someone actually names the film:
I call them the "Rudettes." They're so far up Rudy's a$$ I can't tell where he leaves off and they begin!
What the f--- is a "Chinese Downhill"?

Well, I know Raf can probably name this one, but I got here first. ;)-->
This was the turkey known as "Hot Dog-the Movie".

"Headquarters, we are still in pursuit of the black Lamborghini."
"Car 42, you've been in pursuit for 2 hours. Another 5 minutes and you'll be in Arizona."
"Yeah, and we're gonna STAY in pursuit until we catch them."
"It didn't take us that long to catch DILLINGER."
"Might be easier with your lights on."
"Why advertise?"

Yes,and yes.
The cop exchange was the opening dialogue in the film. The black Lamborgini
was the car Adrienne Barbeau was driving.
The comment about the subway was from the end, when the drivers got into a fight
with some bikers at that roadblock. Rick Aviles' character came up with a piece
of wood and said that. The 2 hits were the guy's shin, then the back of his head.
The little guy took him out fast. (I THINK that was Rick Aviles.)
The race started at night. The guy who thought he was Roger Moore drove with
his lights out.
The Japanese team (featuring Jackie Chan, who is Chinese) had a fully
computerized car. They shut off the standard headlights and switched on a set of
ultraviolet headlights and put on goggles.
The 'Sports Spectacular' comment was Rick Aviles and partner, towards the end.
The other guy was raving about their one-in-a-million jump over the train.
Go, Pirate!

I once asked this literary agent what kind of writing paid the best... he said, "Ransom notes."
