"You're doing well. Your brother would have shot himself by now."
Capt. Harrison Love taunts Zorro (Alejandro Murrieta). Earlier in the movie, Love had Murrieta's brother (Joaquin) surrounded. The brother shot himself rather than submit to the execution he knew was coming. Interesting historical fact: There really was a Joaquin Murrieta, and he really was a thief. And he really was killed by Capt. Harry Love.

"The lady and I were trying to dance."
"You were trying. She was succeeding."
"Don Alejandro" cuts in on a dance between Love and Elena Montero (de la Vega, though she doesn't know it).
***
"I would have killed him."
"No, not today. He is trained to kill. You seem trained to drink. Oh, yes, my friend, you would have fought very bravely, and died very quickly..."
"I've never lost a fight."
"Except to a crippled old man just now."
Brilliant exchange at the initial meeting of Diego de la Vega and the very drunk Alejandro, who was ill-advisedly charging toward Love until Diego stopped him.
***
"I have broken the fourth commandment, padre."
"You killed somebody?"
"No, that is not the fourth commandment."
"Of course not. Tell me, in what way did you break the most sacred of commandments."
"I dishonored my father."
"That is not so bad. Maybe your father deserved it."
"What?"
"I said, tell me more, my child."
Alejandro hides out in a confessional booth, unaware that Elena is waiting to make a confession. She figures he's the priest, so she starts confessing.
Well, I haven't seen it, but Raf's interjection, along with the calibre of humor in the clues, compels me to guess "Beavis and Butthead do America." (or whatever it was called).

Correct!
I particularly like that there's a few quotes that say what fine young gentlemen they are....
"There are over 550 million firearms in worldwide circulation. That's one firearm for every twelve people on the planet. The only question is: How do we arm the other 11?"
"Can you bring me the gun of Rambo?"
"Part One, Two, or Three?"
"I've only seen Part One."
"The first and most important rule of gun-running is: Never get shot with your own merchandise."
"The second rule of gun-running is always ensure you have a foolproof way of getting paid."
"Back then, I didn't sell to Osama Bin Laden. Not because of moral reasons, but because he was always bouncing checks."
"They say, 'Evil prevails when good men fail to act.' What they ought to say is, 'Evil prevails.'"

I'm guessing that WW won't mind my adding a clue: the movie starred Danny Kaye. George

Once again, you posted a quote from a movie, where you could have posted 1/2 the script without me getting it, except for the one quote you posted. This was from early on in "Red Dawn."

Really, this could only be one movie, right?
Especially after you said "recent." I thought maybe Mystery Men, but that's not recent.

Actually, I remembered "You were trying, she was succeeding."
That and "Pointy end goes into the other guy" are the quotes I can rattle off from it.

Ok, next movie.

" I'm sorry, how many Hail-Marys?"
"A thousand! And I want you to hit yourself! Right now!"
"Um, now?"
"Yes, do it!"
