"Like, do blondes, like, do they really have more fun?"

"You can't name my member... Princess Sophia."

"Yes, I can!"

"If you are gonna name my... member, you have to name it something hyper masculine. Something like Spike, or Butch, or Krull the Warrior King!"

"Unattached?"

"Currently."

"Likewise."

"Surprising."

"Psycho?"

"Rarely, Interested?"

"Perhaps."

"Hungry?"

"Starving."

"Leaving?"

"Now?"

"Our love fern! You let it die!"

"No, honey, it's just sleeping."

"That's what I was, huh? I was your guinea pig, somebody you can test your theories on."

"And I was just a girl somebody picked out in a bar."

"Yeah, so what, big deal? Hell, now you can even use it as a little twist in your story."

"That's a good idea, maybe we should bet on it."

"You know what, you did your job now, Andie."

"Yes I did."

"Hey, listen, Sparky. I have a masters in journalism from Columbia, my boss loves me, and if I do it her way for a while, I can write about whatever I want."

"Like, shoes?"

"Like, do blondes, like, do they really have more fun?"

I checked AFTER I posted, and I was correct (almost shockingly).

"At least we've got it stopped."

"Yeah, as long as the Arctic stays cold."

Hint: This is an old movie. Not many of us will have seen it in theaters. There was an 80s remake. These are the last lines of the original. Knowing that might help put it in context that will help you guess the movie, even if you don't remember the lines.

"The Thing."

(I would have guessed that from the quote either way,

but knowing it was remade gave me more confidence.)

I was a click away from posting this but I didn't think there was a movie called 'The Thing" prior to 1982.

"The Thing (1982) "

" The Thing (I) (2011) "

Yes, they're all films of the same story.

It is not The Thing. Or any variation of it.

But if someone's feeling generous, the title could be considered a synonym for The Thing. It's a bit of a stretch (so to speak). Maybe stretch is not the right word.

The Thing took place entirely in the arctic, if I recall correctly, so the fact that the arctic stays cold would have no bearing on the ability of The Thing to continue wreaking havoc. In the movie I'm quoting, the arctic staying cold is kind of crucial to the stopping of whatever it was they're glad they stopped.

"I think you should send us the biggest transport plane you have, and take this thing to the Arctic or somewhere and drop it where it will never thaw."

Anyway, WordWolf, thanks for helping me straighten that out. I do remember watching "The Thing from Another World" when I was a kid.

Yes, I am too aware of the other films with the same story, but not with just the title "The Thing" prior to the 80's that Raf was referring to not. So...............I'm not really sure about this clue, even with the latest that Raf has dropped.

Yes! The Blob was defeated (in the original movie) by cold. So they froze it and dropped it in the arctic.

Interesting fact: The sequel, Beware the Blob, was directed by Larry Hagman.

You're up, George.

"Looks like there's a new shepherd in town."

"That's sheriff."

"Chief, you can take this job, and you can shovel it."

"Take this job... and shovel it."

"Yeah?"

"Close enough."

"He's finally matched his meet. You really licked his a-s-s."

"That's *met* his match and kicked... *kicked* his a-s-s..."

Character 1: "There she was, just walking by... you know how I like it when they walk... I couldn't help it... it just sort of slipped out!"

Character 2: "Actually, he sort of screamed at her. It was a bit frightening."

Character 3: "What did you do then?"

Character 1: "What else? I ran for it!"
