"You don't always get the dream house, but sometimes you get pretty close, you know?"
"Who are these women? Does anyone know? I don't recognize any of them. I want to see my best friend's big sister, the girls from the soccer team, my next door neighbor, real women who are smart and pretty and happy to be who they are. These are the women to look up to. Let's put life back into the magazine. And fun and laughter and silliness. I think we all - I think all of us - want to feel something that we've forgotten or turned our backs on because maybe we didn't realize how much we were leaving behind. We need to remember what used to be good. If we don't, we won't recognize it even if it hits us between the eyes."
Matty and Jenna's catchphrase is repeated in the movie a few times.
"Eminem's on the phone; he wants an answer now."
"Umm... plain.
Peanut? Plain!"
When 30-year old Jenna arrives in her office and has no idea there's a difference
between M&M's and Eminem.
"Who's your daddy?"
"Wayne Rink!"
Jenna Rink and her boss in their first scene.
"I wanna be thirty. Thirty, flirty and thriving.'
Jenna's wish after reading a magazine and feeling like being a teenager is awful.
"Everybody Wang Chung tonight."
Jenna at the dance.
"I want a fluffy pillow!"
Jenna to Matt, when she's realizing what happened. The next scene shows her with
a fluffy pillow.
"Matty! It's Thriller!"
At the dance- the Thriller scene should be memorable.
"You don't always get the dream house, but sometimes you get pretty close, you know?"
The dream house is a running theme in the movie.

Yeah, the challenge is, most of the decent lines in this one are giveaways. That last one should at least clue you in to the genre.
"You read way too much Twilight."
"That's fiction, okay. This is real. He's a real monster and he's not brooding, or lovesick, or noble. He's the f------ shark from Jaws. He kills, he feeds, and he doesn't stop until everybody around him is dead. And I seriously am so angry you think I read Twilight."
"For real" is a partial tagline quote. the full quote is "Welcome to Fright Night... for real."
Fright Night, in the movies, is the name of the show that "vampire hunter" Peter Vincent hosts on late night TV (original) / Las Vegas (remake). So... oh, never mind. You're up.

I would have recognized "for real" and "vampire movie" as
"Welcome to Fright Night....for real." (IMHO, best and most memorable line of the movie.)
I thought the original was interesting. Peter O'Toole as Peter Vincent, IIRC.
There was even a werewolf knockoff I haven't seen, with Kevin Sorbo.
I had no idea they'd done a remake-and when I googled out of curiousity,
I concluded that ANY use of Google had excluded me from guessing.

I'm guessing that WW won't mind my adding a clue: the movie starred Danny Kaye. George

Once again, you posted a quote from a movie, where you could have posted 1/2 the script without me getting it, except for the one quote you posted. This was from early on in "Red Dawn."

Well, vampires. But I haven't seen this one (or anhy of the Twilight series, for that matter...)

Obviously, it REFERENCES Twilight. So, it can't BE any Twilight movie.
It sounds like a vampire flick. It has to have come out in the last decade
because it presumes the public knows what Twilight is.
It sounds serious, otherwise I'd guess "Vampires Suck" (a spoof of the genre.)
I'll need to think about what movies this COULD be.

It may help if you looked at the clues in the right light.
[That's not a quote, just trying to move this along. Hoping the sight might help you figure out which movie this is.]

Sorry. All the "ight" rhymes aren't making it clearer to me. (I'd guess "Love at First Bite," but that was well before the Twilight films.)

I guess my clues are a trite slight.
Or maybe you should put up more of a bright fight.
This isn't coming off quite right.

I had to look up For Real. I thought it was the name of the flick. (none with that name (apparently). But anyway,
I think that your right, Raf,
I have given up the fight blinded by the light (or the lack of) and lost sight
If I had any clue, no doubt, it would have hit me like a beam of light
instead i'm left wondering into the night what movie would be right
to choose had I'd seen it but I doubt ever seeing anything of the like.

Roddy McDowall, not Peter O'Toole.
The remake featured Anton Yelich (sp? He played Chekov in the Star Trek reboot) and Colin Farrell as Jerry the vampire.
Chris Sarandon (the original Jerry) had a cameo. He gets killed right quick.

Ok, a movie featuring a temporally displaced soldier and a former Russian who values freedom...
I'll go with The Avengers
