I will add later. That's the only lime I remember by heart, repeated often. However, I apparently got it wrong. Should be: "I'd buy THAT for a dollar." maybe the inflection might jog your memories. Hey, jog your memories, though not a quote, can be perceived as a clue.
"How do you like this, Vernon? I'd like to kill you so badly I can barely contain myself. But I've been thinking. Death is far to merciful fate for you. So what I'm going to do is put you in prison.... A nice petite white boy like you in a Federal penitentiary....Let me just put it this way, I don't think you'll be able to remain anal-retentive for very long.
Oops, sorry aboout that Raf. That's one of those weird times when you see a couple of pictures in your mind all at the same time and...mind fart. Actually, I just realized the bad guy from both films, Ronny Cox, is the same. Both roles are almost identical in character. :doh:Your still up then Raf.

I'm guessing that WW won't mind my adding a clue: the movie starred Danny Kaye. George

Once again, you posted a quote from a movie, where you could have posted 1/2 the script without me getting it, except for the one quote you posted. This was from early on in "Red Dawn."

I don't check in enough, but the video was not necessary. Still haven't. Clicked it. Anyhow, next clue:
"I'll buy that for a dollar!"

Raf I was in the process of giving it up ( Sling Blade ) when you chimed in. Basically, a shut out, no guesses, so I put the video up
to see if anybody could recognize Billie Bob Thornton from it. I still think he's unrecognizable as himself when I watch it.
Your clue? shouldn't there be more of a clue since it's not the one line thread?

Can be. Doesn't have to be. Presumably, he'll add more if the titile isn't guessed from this one line.

"I had to kill Bob Morton because he made a mistake. Now it's time to erase that mistake."

Total Recall. I don't remember the "buy it" for a dollar line. Where was that?

It was not Total Recall.
Your movie is Above the Law, with Steven Segal.

I noticed no one named it yet, Robo Cop.
In light of the last dozen or so posts to reveal the answer, I felt it necessary for a song.â–º 5:09
Apparently my flash plugin isn't working. Oh Well, I was trying to play Truckin by ~THE GRATEFUL DEAD~.

It was Robocop. The dollar line was a recurring tv commercial in the movie

What is this George? Cuz, I don't know! Unless its Men Who Stare At Goats?

Human, it's not Men Who Stare at Goats.
Seems to me that the characters are probably in Hell, and that it's a comedy,
but I don't think I know this movie either.

Correct, although the characters aren't in Hell throughout the film. Think Happy Gilmore in Hell.

So, I would guess that Adam Sandler is in it, but I still don't know it.
I'll think on it some more.
