Well, seeing as Cindy! and I will be out of town for the next several days, it wouldn't be right for me to answer this, and then leave everyone hanging.
did you all enjoy that movie as much as I did? I thought it "held up a mirror" and was also a strong performance by "him"... oh... and enjoy your weekend!
The best part was that the movie did not come to a complete conclusion - was he? or wasn't he? if he wasn't, what about all of these evidences? but how could he be?
In other words, the movie left the conclusion to the viewer's imagination - quite a clever ending, IMO.
You humans, most of you, subscribe to this policy of an eye for an eye, a life for a life, which is known throughout the universe for its... stupidity. Even your Buddha and your Christ had different ideas, but nobody seemed to want to listen to them. Not even the Buddhists or the Christians.
"Well, you see, I didn't know where your office was. So I asked the newsboy. He didn't know. So I asked the fireman, green grocer, the butcher, the baker, they didn't know. But the liquor store guy... he knew."
Chas... did you ever see "Brewster McCloud"? The male principal in your movie starred in it a year or two earlier... it's a very strange (but I thought brilliant at the time) Robert Altman movie... I wonder if I would think the same now...

I'm guessing that WW won't mind my adding a clue: the movie starred Danny Kaye. George

Once again, you posted a quote from a movie, where you could have posted 1/2 the script without me getting it, except for the one quote you posted. This was from early on in "Red Dawn."

K-Pax?
It's either that or Harvey, but K-Pax makes more sense, based on your description.

Raf already guessed "K-Pax".
Was that a miss? I thought it was "K-Pax" also.....
(But he'd already guessed it...)

Sorry for the misunderstanding...
I thought when I said: "Yes my son..." I was answering that you were correct... I'll try to be more direct...
Raf, you're right! It is "K-Pax".
(I just wanted to give another quote, is that bad form?)

I got confused.
All right, I'll get a quote in a little later...

"Anybody know you're here?"
"Nobody. Not a soul, except, uh..."
"Who?"
"Well, you see, I didn't know where your office was. So I asked the newsboy. He didn't know. So I asked the fireman, green grocer, the butcher, the baker, they didn't know. But the liquor store guy... he knew."

And I guess I'll take this one: Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
Next (two clues):
"I wrestled with reality for 35 years, doctor, and I'm happy. I finaly won out over it."
"In this world, you must be oh so smart or oh so pleasant. Well, for years I was smart. I recommend pleasant. And you may quote me."

OMG - I can't believe anyone else knows this movie...!!!
This is my favorite! (Huge Jimmy Stewart fan!)
HARVEY!
My favorite quote from this is:
“After this he’ll be a perfectly normal human being. And you know what stinkers they are!" (I say this at work all the time!) LOL!
Thank you, Tom! What a delightful (but deep) movie to think about tonight...

Okay... my turn....

OK... here's two (the movie has a big star before they were big):
I am not complaining, but I usually don't like my filth this clean.
AND (these are not together)
You're a pimp?! You look like Gandhi!
I just love this movie!
