as a communications major in college in the 70s, i took a class on Radio, where we actually STUDIED those two records, Dwarf and Bozos! them was the days.
(note to JL; it's he's a spy and a girl delighter)
Me and my buds used to listen to Dwarf, Nick Danger, and Waiting for the electrician while tripping. That was before Cheech and Chong were invented. I saw C and C live in fall of '72. They asked the crowd in general if they were all stoned, then acted momentarily like they would go to another routine and Chong says, "Oh, yeah. Is anybody on acid"? One guy says yes, another says mesc. Instantly it got dark and they made grotesque faces and this loud screechy noise sounded for about a minute. Those guys probably got as many people into drugs as the Beatles. Never heard anybody claim THEY were of the devil.
And here's my 15 seconds of fame (drum roll, please): I met Wavy Gravy (Hugh Romney) in the late 60s in Los Angeles, along with others from his Hog Farm (which, by the way, was a real place).

This is killin me you guys! Funny how we'd sit (four or five of us at a time) in this gals bedrom (her Mom let us smoke pot) when we were fourteen and just listen to that stuff and laugh to tears! Ahh....the theater of the mind...
...I was on the couch pretending to be asleep when Kathy slipped into the room...she stood there staring at RumRunner's shillelagh (I looked up the spelling of shillelagh)...with her mouth agape...I had all I could do to kept from bursting out laughing...

Didn't Simon and Garfunkel warn people about the brown acid at a concert once? And....who would take brown acid anyway??

LOL! Didn't think about that T-Bone. I was always partial to the cartoon characters, myself. Just for looks, I mean.
I do think I might see if I can get accepted at The University of Toronto.

Paper, what paper. Wheres the paper? Did someone take my paper? I know that paper was here, somewhere.
The paper is under the bed. The paper is in my car. The paper was here yesterday, and now its gone.
