Bramble
I had lots of trouble last winter/spring, to the point where I was having short term memory loss and speech halts due to not enough sleep. The doc tried sleeping pills for a few weeks to see if they would reset my natural sleep rythym, didn't work. Then she tried a depression medication, and it worked with in a couple weeks--even though I wasn't feeling particularly melancholy or depressed in any emotional sense--just felt tired and achy. Now I have a normal sleep pattern and I'm careful to keep to a schedule (no naps or sleeping in on weekends.)
likeaneagle
I have been typicaly waking up at 3:15......I starting drinking hot milk to be able to back to sleep. It works...yea!! I guess it release trytophan and is a sleep inducer.
Dot Matrix
Bramble, that maybe a clue as I do sleep a little later on the weekends. Like aneagle - glad the milk works, but I just don't do milk well. Thanks anyway BTW, I finally went to sleep at 4:30 am and had to get up at 6:00 am
doojable
I hear that you should take 2/3 of your calcium intake at night. Don't know if this will help sleep tho.
