TOMMYZ
Recently saw the original Japanese version of Godzilla. Since 40 minutes of the movie had been cut for the American version and Raymond Burr added in the U.S, it was like watching a different movie. It was more of a serious statement about nuclear warfare and less of a "popcorn movie". Many of the cast and crew had worked with the famous director Kurosawa and it showed. Has anyone else see it ? Sudo
Tommy, I've heard it is almost a different movie. I wondered even as a child how Raymond Burr could act so calm. So deliberate when he could look out and see a monster destroying the city?? sudo
