In "The Ship," Sisko and crew find a downed Dominion ship. To keep it, they fend off the wiles of Kaitlin Hopkins as a VERY fetching Vorta and a number of Jemm Hadar. One of the crew is wounded. Worf says they should give him an honorable death, but O'Brien refuses to give up. The crewman does die, however. When back at DS9 (or maybe on the Defiant?) Worf sees O'Brien sitting with the crewman's casket. He points out a Klingon custom of staying with a fallen warrior's body to keep predators (though, I suppose, it should really be scavengers) away intil the warrior's spirit has reached Stoval Kor. Worf joins O'Brien in his vigil, saying, "We will both keep the predators away."
"A Piece of the Action"-Kirk and Spock are 'duping' the mobster guard with a fake card game. I can't remember if it was one of Bella Oxnyx's boys, or Krakos.
dopey episode , but fun . Kirk driving, the gangster lingo, etc.
They threw out the prime directive and the importance of it for the sake of a dumb joke at the end though.
I can think of at least two cases where McCoy chides Spock for his logic. I'm going to guess "The Galileo Seven." (In case it's not McCoy but the crewman who thought Spock was unfeeling.)

I'm blanking on it at the moment.
(To keep Cynic from feeling left out, however, my brain informs me that his quote
may be Moriarity's "cogito ergo sum" speech in "Ship in a Bottle",
just before he "leaves the holodeck.")

PB's clue sounds like a Dixon Hill hologram story. I'll try
"The Big Goodbye." (Next Generation)

The odds of getting a royal fizzbin are astronomical. Spock, what are the odds of getting a royal fizzbin?

I know that pawnbroker knows this one and am declaring him the winner.
In response to a 'rules' question-which we're making up as we go along really,
yes-even though this episode was used recently, no reason why one can't use it again.
your turn pawnbroker-just mention the answer for the folks first though.

My guess: Amanda talking to Sarek in "Journey to Babel."

And how did you know Pawnbroker knew your clue, Hiway?

I pm'd hiway to ask if it was ok to use the same episode so closely...
I'm sorry I should have posted it publicly, sorry.
And I am also sorry to say the answer is incorrect...
but Sharon says you saw Traxx, so I should be extra nice

I would have guessed Amanda also, especially in tribute to Jane Wyatt.
One would think it's a McCoy quote, but I'm guessing it's from somewhere else.
No need to apologize for the pm, pawnbroker-I just thought I could answer it in public.

I guess it WAS "Journey to Babel," then?
Here's another from a favorite episode of mine:
"They wonder how you would fare."
"How I would fare?"
"With them."
"One...or both?!"

Hahaha!
This was during the officer exchange program.
Mendac (Mendoc?) served on the Enterprise,
and Riker served on a Klingon battlecruiser.
(The IKC Pagh, if I remember correctly,
one of the big Vor'cha class things.)
This line was Riker at dinner in the Klingon Mess Hall,
making a good accounting of himself during crew banter.
I agree this episode was fun.

"A Matter of Honor," which WW described correctly. The "them" was two Klingon women.
Go, WordWolf.

Couldn't remember the name, but I could name the Klingon starship.
That's how it goes, sometimes....
Ok, then!
