""Just how old are you? Are you a Christian, or do you paint yourself blue and bay at the moon?"
"You ever had it bad for an older woman?" "Well, the situation hasn't come up recently."
"You know, considering how shot to pieces you were, it's amazing you're still alive." "Ow! Considering who's treating me, I'd say it's a miracle. Watch out. Ow! Where'd you say you studied medicine?" "Heidelberg. 1453." "Did you major in medicine or dueling?" "Both. A couple more days, you'll be able to travel." "You don't have to look quite so happy about it."
"He says he heard a strange noise, we went to go check it out, and he saw three grown men with drawn swords, having it out." "Did he also see a guy in a bat costume and a long cape?"
BTW, the 3 men with swords was from the series pilot, when/where Slan the Cat attacked Duncan MacLeod (Adrian Paul) and was interrupted by Connor MacLeod (Christopher Lambert). "Same clan, different vintage." CM/CL was the Highlander in the first few movies, and the show followed DM/AP after this episode. It was the only one where both interacted. It was great. They used at least 1 clip of this for the entire run of the series, in the opening.

Wow. This one's been dormant for a while... "Uh I've just been handed a news flash. The word "Canada" is unrhymeable. It's easier to - I don't know - get drunk and try to climb a bull

Human without the bean
Unless Kunta Kinte was in some other TV show this must be *Roots*.

Must be. It was only a miniseries, but it was certainly a well-known TV show.

My favorite variation was in the first episode of the second version of this show.
"*ding* THE PLANE! *ding* THE PLANE!" "Just ONE will be sufficient."
But yours is clearly Tattoo in the original
"FANTASY ISLAND."

Those last 2 quotes are easy and easier, in that order. And explain why the second quote is funny.

Obviously, someone's really old, probably a vampire, so there wouldn't be many older women around.
The Vampire Diaries?

No. Read the last 2 quotes a LOT slower or something. You're missing something really, really obvious.
Although your reasoning was on the right track about someone really old so many older women aren't around.

George I thought WordWolf was subtle enough with the guy in Drag wearing a Net.

I knew what he meant. I just don't know whether he was actually answering to get the next shot or hoping someone else would get it.
