I don't think anyone would've gotten "asterix" out of the cartoon except maybe Eagle's friend from the Open forum... how do you get H out of the last pic?
I thought Asterix for an asterisk was quite clever! Of course, if I weren't a comic-book afficianado, I would never have gotten it. As for the last pic, I thought "age" even before I figured out the rest of it.

If you know that the repeating cartoon character is Asterix, it all falls into place:
M
*
A (Aayy!)
*
S (Superman)
*
H (Age)
I'll have to give some thought to a new one. If someone else would like to jump in, feel free.

Oh come now, there have been far more questionable logical stretches than "age" for H.
And Asterisk was fair game! :)

:)
Not that much of a stretch!
M was obvious
* was less obvious, but perfectly fair.
The others were obvious. And "age" for H is not THAT much of a stretch.

At any rate, "General Hospital" was correct. Dreamer is up!

Baloney (not that it matters... "it's in the past, there's no profit") ... and again I say Salami...
M was fine, that is her character in Bond films.
Asterix is OK, it just means the puzzle will only be solved by comic book geeks.
S was OK because it was right there on his chest.
H from "age" though... well, that's no dice!
Like I said... I don't want to hear either of you guys complaining about a puzzle again!

I tend to believe him (this time). I don't know what you're looking for, either.
