How often do you fill up?

My dad still reminds me that having a nearly empty tank isn't good, since there would be a better chance of condensation inside the tank, and keeping it on the 'full side' would help to prevent water getting in the tank.

True. Do this, and you will not have to put Rubbing Alcohol (95%) into the tank as frequently. :)

I fill up at 1/2 full/empty (your choice as to which), but prefer to do it mid-week.

Today (Monday) -- the station next door to me was lowering their prices by several cents per gallon,

which had gone up the same several cents per gallon last Thursday evening.

Go figure. <_<

I NEVER drive with less than a half a tank.

Thats just me, since I plan ahead so very well.

I think I'm rethinking this... I'm adopting the "keep note of the prices as you drive around, once you get below a half tank stop and get gas if it's cheap"...

I've owned a few Fords and never had to push the gas tank limit but I have not filled my tank since gas went beyond $2 or so a gallon so I dunno what it would cost to fill my tank but a 20 gallon tank times 3 would cost me $60 to fill so its relevant me thinks.

Every time I get gas I fill up, and I'm lucky if I can make a tank last a week.

I can't believe twi makes suggestions when to gas up. Hey innies...fill your tanks and drive, drive, drive as far away from twi as you can.
