This is so true.

My died beforre a lot of this happened. My dad was another story.

It is very hard to become your parents parent. To help them make the decisions that they must.

To watch them decide they like your sister more because he remembered rocking her to sleep every day.

The last three years a eat luch with my dad every friday. It was one of the best investments in time I have ever made.

Thanks, my dad is there now. It's sad really to see a man so full of life become so devastated. And even sadder to see my mom with so much life left in her struggling to care for him. It is definitely survival at this point in time for them.
