Oakspear
It's taken almost 5 years since leaving The Way, but I now have a vehicle that runs good, has no rust, gets good gas mileage, and looks cool I earned the tagline "drives a WOWmobile" back in Summer 2002 when laleo spotted my rusty faded white Pontiac 6000 parked in front of casa de laleo. That piece of junk got me to New York and back with stops in Michigan and a shortcut through Canada. I've driven a succession of "WOWmobiles", the latest being a 1986 fake wood panelled Oldsmobile station wagon that I dubbed "Big Woody". Big Woody made an appearence at Weenie Roast III in 2004, but his health has been declining lately, until my mechanic suggested a Do-Not-Resucitate order be put into effect. Big Woody has bravely started every day while we conducted a search for his replacement, despite the pain of a cracked head gasket and various fluid leaks. It's a new era in oakmobiles.
