  1. Perhaps it can be said, and be shown from scripture, that faith (aka, believing) is, and always has been, required for any man to be saved. However, it does not appear that what man is to believe in order to be saved has always been the same. Consider, for example, the record of such men as Able, or Enoch, or Noah. Did they need to believe in the death, burial and resurrection of Christ in order to be saved? Not hardly, as it seems the revelation of a coming Messiah that would necessarily die and rise again hadn't even been given yet. When and/or how often did whatever man was instructed to believe change? Or, do you suppose that it has never changed? What do some of you think in regards to this?
