Oaksie, You're an amazing story teller!!! Donnie and Marie...oh my! :D--> I worked once under the tutelage of this madman Highlander you speak of! I can see him now...screaming with his eyes bulging!

Where did all the monkeys go? :(--> I miss them.

Mr. Music Man, I believe that when someone has serious control issues such as you have described about your boss it is essential that the person realize that either by your actions and/or words that his behaviour no longer has effect. Once you have accomplished this, the 'perp' will suddenly realize he is 'powerless' and you will have disarmed him. Now, exactly HOW you would 'disarm' him and the details in HOW to do this is another matter. Humour sometimes disarms these people who take themselves far too seriously.

Mr. Evan, Very very nice!! Thank you for that listening pleasure. :D--> We have Yo-Yo Ma playing the cello suites.. and the video they produced with the skaters Torvill and Dean skating to the suites. Breathtaking. -
Oldies, Maybe you should go back to TWI. You seem to think (or believe) that you were a better person then.

Dear Brother Lingo, I'm sure Ian the Border monster was so taken with all the Amazing love you showed him over the course of those 45 minutes that he was probably very thankful you shared this information with him and you changed his life! Once again, being, feeling, living and now sharing wins hands down over the force of the Dark Monkey. I'm so proud of my Amazing brother Lingo. Ummmm.... no I don't remember ever dancing with you at the Big E Jonny. I was probably too busy laughing in the corner while listening to my good friend Mr. Eachus carry on about some story or some duffus thing happening at that place!! He sure kept me in stitches. He certainly had ways of the Amazing Sea Monkeys in his soul! Living Feeling Being and now Sharing

I'm back... Holy Moly, you could write a book on that statement alone!! Talk about control issues! I hated Corps Assessments for that reason alone. I would cringe everytime we had to sit through those things. The wildest thing was the "leader" would sit through the meeting...listen to your meager attempts to try and somehow be approved in front of them and then proceed to bash any ounce of self-esteem you had left. Nothing it seemed was ever good enough! My husband and I were usually in an area were we had little contact with the 'leader' (usually due to geographical distance) and then this 'leader' would somehow waltze into our lives and somehow summize it in an afternoon or so. I can't believe I let those b*stards to that to me! I'm better now! :D-->

Dear Waterbuffalo, Shelly and Shellon are not the same person. Just thought I'd let you know. Wat's on second right? Who's on first ? I don't know is on third?
-
Shelly, I want to thank you for such a beautiful post. You have certainly touched me. There are about 20 things I'd love to talk about in your post. It was difficult for me to chose what I wanted to talk about but I thought I'd start with this line you wrote. I could write a book on that line alone. Man oh man ... what I saw in the ministry so often was that it became...how's this going to affect me? If someone gets hurt, in an accident etc. we were not concerned for the individual as much as 'how are we going to explain this to our leader?' It became an 'all about me' ministry. How despicable... how un-Christian! And now you have arrived at the point where you don't care about the results...wowza!!! That's momentus! You could act as your heart so desired and you were at peace with yourself knowing no matter the results...you were content with you. That's so cool! I'm excited for you! Thank you for sharing what you did! It made my day too!

Jonny, You've made my day!!! I can just picture you with those girls dancing and having a hoot of a time! You attract those 'canadia' girls cause you're so fun loving and probably like to dance and enjoy music! Who wouldn't want to dance with you! I surely would!!!! But then again, I am a 'canadia' minkee girl! OH YES! I've heard of Zydeco and I've listened to him many a time as well! I get the feeling that he's sorta' the grandad of Cajun music. The first time I ever heard cajun music was when I watched a movie called 'The Big Easy' with Dennis Quaid. It took place in New Orleans and the whole movie dealt with Dennis (named Rémi) in the movie and these crooked cops. Well, at the end of the movie, he of course gets the girl and she ends up at his family's house where they are having a party and dance outside. There is this band playing 'cajun' music (could very well be Zydeco for all I know, I've never checked it out). Well, I watched the movie a couple of times before I realized they were singing in french (and I'm french!). That accent is pretty heavy to say the least! But, the heart of that music drew something out of me... way way down deep I think, in my DNA I'm convinced! Just like the Amazing Sea Monkeys do!! You keep dancing and doing your Amazing music and those girls will not be able to resist you! Being Living Feeling and now sharing!

It's at 404 views and STILL no action!!! :P--> It's like we're all been frozen in time. Did we forget to take our Geritol??
-
Wowza!!! Buckwheat is coming to town! How cool!!! and Amazing of course! I have a real soft spot for cajun music myself being of french descent and my mother being acadian ... can you blame me! --> Well, Brother Jon, sounds like Haines Alaska is a happenin' place. And that's so cool (or should I say 'Amazing')that you get to do some music. And you get to spread the joy of those Amazing Sea Monkey's to all those wonderful listeners!! I too look forward to the day that the Amazing Sea Monkeys get together and make beautiful music. All that love in one room...oh my, it will be overwhelmingly Amazing! Now, tell us more about these 'fun loving Canadians' you speak so highly of!! ;)--> Being Feeling Living and now Sharing!

Strangeone, Our AmazingSeaMonkey's band Brother Tom. Did you forget? You're supposed to be practicing the drums aren't you?
-
Too many "I's" for my liking. I think I spent more time in JAL's office than I ever did on Top Floor Wierwille. I think JAL pretty much shook his head in disbelief when he met me. I was shoowed off campus pretty quick!

Who or what are we supposed to have sex with? I have a hubby, isn't that what he's for? --> Did this little minkee miss something? -->

Uncle Hairy, Hahahahahhah....so true!

Sunesis, I would have to agree with you there. I remember being at PFAL '77 and VP had introduced Walter Cummins for a teaching or something and he said in his introduction something like this..."If I had to be replaced today as President of The Way International, this is the man I would get to take my place." So all the following years, I always thought that Walter Cummins was the man. When I heard that LCM was chosen I nearly fell off my chair.

Simon, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!! :D--> :D--> :D--> :D--> :D--> :D--> :D--> :D--> :D--> Many chuckles, many smiles. Thanks.

Dearest AmazingSeaMonkey Brethren, For the past two evenings I have had the most awesome experience! I attended the Toronto Jazz Festival held every year for the past 16 yrs. in downtown Toronto beaches area. There were 40 bands playing down the street. When one band would finish, the next band across the street or beside them would start up. This would go for blocks and blocks. There were thousands of people strolling the street (Queen Street) that was blocked off from car traffic. Thousands of people (young, old, all ages) all cultures embracing the sound of some of the most incredible musicians! I wish I could describe some of this music I heard. So much talent! So much AmazingSeaMonkey love oozing from their souls as they played and/or sang each note! A woman next to me looked down the street and said..."A SEA of people!" She was certainly tapped in! The music, guitars, basses, drums, brass instruments galore...you would have all loved it my music loving friends!!! ps. Recently I was introduced to a great singer called Eva Cassidy. Anyone heard of her? She died a few years past at the age of 33. Sad. :(--> But, the music she left behind is beautiful.
