  1. You are all Amazing!!!! Feel like I'm way over my head here...Scaggs was part of the Steve Miller Band...duh me ( -->) sheeshhh...I feel so out of touch! Scaggs was introduced to me in a song called 'Lido Shuffle'... :(--> I know the Scaggs/Disco era...but I liked it very much...the whole album.(sorry :(-->) Of late I've been listening to a singer called Eva Cassidy ... has anyone ever heard of her? My friend Dougie 73 introduced me to her. I'd have to say...she's one of the most incredible jazz/blues/folk singers I have ever heard (if not one of the most incredible singers all together). She passed away in 1998 at the age of 33. Don't know much more than that except that she left a legacy of music that baffles me with it's perfection. I am convinced that Eva had to have been connected with those Amazing Sea Monkeys! It feels so good! Susan Werner is another singer I've listened to lately...mucho Amazing as well! Socks my brother...Calvin is back!!! :P--> You gotta love that! PS ~ If someone could show me how to do that thingy where you can put a song on the post and you guys/gals just click on it to play it ~ I'd post some Eva here. Help! -->
  2. Dearest Amazing Sea Monkey Brethren, Cool Tunes...thanks for sharing! Love that Boz/Reed tune... who does the harmonica work on that song? Is it Boz-man 'imself??? Socks...love that funky signature of yours!

  6. Ahat, Ummmm?? Unless the Joyce Meyer you speak of was once a TWIer and attended the Way College program...I would say no. But, thanks for trying. The Joyce Meyer I knew had a sister who was in and her father was a grad as well. I met her in 1977. She would be in her mid 40's by now.
  7. Ahhhhhh!!!!! All these Amazing Sea Monkey brethren coming to my wonderful Argyle brother's rescue. I'm getting warm fuzzies (get it? warm fuzzies...like 'Socks' :D-->) all over! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!

  14. John, Hmmm??? Not sure? But if it is, will you be stringing chairs for those big believer's meetings?
  15. JT, Very well put! Now I've oftened wondered if the 'idyllic' part was only due to the fact that as a 'newbie' I was not privy to the 'at the top' happenings? Questions that make you go ... hmmmmmmmmmmmm???

  18. 'Oppie, Funny how being maltreated, hounded, discriminated and bullied mad us want to come back for more and more and more. How strange??? -->
  19. Exxie, Thanks...that was cool!
  20. Tommy, Her band is what keeps it all together I think. Their subtilty of playing, their sometimes sparesity of notes is what make them such accomplished musicians. This I admire.
  21. Ball? What ball? Is there a ball? I must have missed THE ball :(--> Figures...
