  1. Sorry.. I sorta' derailed didn't I? -->
  2. RR, I was always amazed how people in TWI were often like this. They just took with no regards of others. I stayed a few times with staff during CW/ROA but each time I brought gifts/food and money. Never was it solicited ... I just felt it was the right thing to do. And then there were the times where you were invited to someone's place to stay and they demanded money or else, you were 'housed' somewhere and the people resented the fact that you were there and pretty much treated you like pond scum. Staying with 'believers' was often an uncomfortable experience. I wasn't often made to feel welcome or at home. Especially in Way Homes or Limb Homes.. sheeeshh.. that was like walking on Hallowed ground and you better watch your 'p's' and 'q's' ... or else.. the reproof would start to fly. No warm fuzzies there! I HATED IT!!!!!!!!!!
  3. Coolwaters, I just clicked on your link to TWI's idol/fountain picture. I just had shivers go up and down my spine. :o--> What a dead place.
  4. Robin des Bois (but not in tights) Happy Birthday my friend. Here's hoping you have the best Hallowe'enny birthday ever! :D-->
  5. Means, if you hadn't started to 'age' rapidly, you will now.
  6. Oh Brother Socks...where art thou? I know you are not a 'man of constant sorrow' but I was wondering if you received my last two emails to you? I may have an old email address? Not sure...
  7. OE, Amazing to hear about the fire remaining contained. Glad to hear your land was somehow protected from an all out forest fire. I'm pleased to hear you were treated nicely OE. In all my encounters with the police and/or RCMP's (not that there have been many mind you) I've never once run into a 'yahoo' type. :)-->
  8. If getting dropped kicked outta' the 'HOUSEHOLD' and thrown out on the curb counts as a splash...I guess...I splashed alot. :P-->
  9. Rascal, (((((my sweet rascallion)))) XO
  10. You gotta' love them RCMPs!!! (and insurance guys too!!!) Glad to hear all is well OE! :D--> It's a miracle there wasn't a huge forest fire as well OE...so close to the bush!!
  11. Mr. Rider, Hose-bag perhaps is better described in Amarrrican as...sleeze bag. --> Must I explain everything!
  12. Steve!, I'm assuming by your answer, that you're not one of those BRANIACS on GS. :P-->
  13. Sky, Touch?ncore!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHH!!! :P-->
  14. Sky, On second thought... I can understand TWI's slant on this. If TWI believes that 'your life is not your own' and that 'you've been bought with a price' means we own you ~ then YES, it would make complete sense that they feel that these other ministries have stolen from their folds.
  15. Cowgirl, You ask the darndest questions girl! --> Ummm... hose-bag...let's see...not quite sure how to explain. Ask one of these GS braniacs...they're sure to be able to explain. I'm no good at these 'intellectual' questions. :P-->
  16. Georgio, Is that a Superman T-Shirt you are wearing?
  17. Exxie, I'm no bible scholar here by any stretch. But the way I understood the verse to read was that Paul is talking about fornication and such things. He then reminds the Corinthians... Hey guys and gals, remember ... take care of your bodies (meaning...don't be hose-bags) ...because that body belongs to God...He purchased it with the blood of His son. He thinks highly of you and your vessel...you should too.
  18. Thanks Bob for clarifying that...that surely puts a whole different slant on things!!! INTERESTING!!!
  19. Chwester, I agree Chwester, yet I do not believe that God ever intended for us to give up our 'wills' because of this purchase. There was supposed to be greater freedom because of the purchase, not more control, oppression, restraint, limitation and domination. Being bought with a price to me means that God saw that we were in pretty rough shape...under the rulership of other powers ~ the true meaning of slavery (don't mean to get all sparituuuuual here). So the loving father saw His children in this state, redeemed His children and said...now...go play and be free. That's the way I would like to think of it. :D--> Why would God sacrifice His only Son other than for us to have more freedom and joy than we could possibly fathom. It makes no sense to me otherwise.
  20. Bob, Thank you for that revealing information. Exxie, Yes, I was of that same mind as you...I thought it was because he loved his master, that the slave wanted to stay. It was always taught to me that the reason the slave would stay is because his master treated him with such love, care and respect for the slave that the slave was almost better off staying with him. Sheeeshhh, now that I write that I see how WRONG that thinking really is. No matter what, a slave is a slave. Your choices are no longer your own. And I used to think this was about the greatest thing anyone could do...to give themselves up for such a cause. OHMYGAWD, OHMYGAWD, OHMYGAWD, OHMYGAWD, OHMYGAWD!!! --> --> --> --> --> -->
  21. Oh Gee, Once a pain in the A$$ (that would be me during my stay) :D--> always a pain in the A$$.(that would be me after my departure) :D--> And they say things have changed at The Way Intersmashinal. --> I DON'T THINK SO!!! :P-->
  22. Bluzie, Spewwinnngg all over the screen!!! hahahahahahhahah!!! feeling the love, being the love, living the love
