WW, Don't know if I'm doing this in order...but I was thinking of this post today. All I can say is that it reeks of 'LOOK AT ME - I'M THE Man of God ... and look at how the Devil is trying to destroy me. I have suffered so much for the Word. What have you suffered? NOTHING!!! (you peon YOU!) I HAVE done all the research, I HAVE given it to you. My blood, MY sweat and MY tears...I give it to YOU!! Wow...what service, what doulos, what a MAN! I am nearly weak from disgust! :(-->

WW, I couldn't resist... Egads....heeeeeeeellllpp!!!!! What does this mean exactly? What is VP insinuating here? Was he possibly saying that he believed these young people to be 'liberal' with their ideas of sex and perhaps extra-marital sex was acceptable to them???? MY GOD...I think I need a tranquilizer :(-->
-
WW, OK...couldn't pass this one up!!! Wonder if his respect for Jim, Steve and Ted went up 99% when he saw this!! gag!! This whole books drips of ME MYSELF AND I!!! It's absolutely PATHETIC!!! It's all there... my oh my oh my!! Pass the barf bag PLEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAASE!!!

ZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!!!!! I'm shutting up now...:o-->

YIKES!!! I can just hear the next part coming up ... the part about his eyes getting burnt from the lights...he was such the 'sacrificial lamb'!! --> WW...Stoooooooooooop! I must get some sleep!!! You're killing me!!
-
WW, Yes, I wanted state that very thing you asked...but thought maybe I should let readers make their own conclusions. I find it very 'strange' that she stayed at the 'Y'. If she was such a dear friend, then why did she not stay with VP at his home??? Perhaps they wanted 'privacy'? Feeling sicker by the minute... (insert smiley face that is the colour of green and looks like it's about to puke right about here ---> )

SAY NO MORE!!! I picked up the check... talk about 'all about me' issues!!! -->

If 'Calling him everynight' wasn't enough..then she visited him every weekend ... wowza That's quite the committed individual to Wierwille. What kind of life did she have? Man oh man...I can hardly handle reading this stuff...I'm almost ready to hurl chunks. --> I'm so embarrased I even endorsed this book at one time in my life --> What dillusion was I under?
-
OH MY GOD!!!! I'm only in the middle of page 3 and I can't get over all the "I did..." "I said..." "I saw.." VP speaks he learnt so much from everyone..but it sounds more like... "They agreed with what I believed...and therefore, they were right on because of it!" PUKE PUKE PUKE

Bluzeman, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!! I have been a close friend of Chatty's now for about 3 yrs and this is the first picture I have ever seen of her. All this time...and I NEVER knew what she looked like. I only had a picture of her from that avatar when she was 3 or so. IT's so great to finally put a face to those words that come across my screen when we chat!!! Man oh Man...I'm so excited!!! It's been a long time coming for me!!! PS...I did ask Chatty at one time to send me a pic of her (as I had sent one of me and my family) but she refused!!

Thanks Kathy for the warm words! Ted, Just listened to a clip of that Moonlight in Vermont by Johnny Smith...nice stuff...smooth as velvet he was. Made me think of some of those guitarists from Norah Jones' "HANDSOME BAND". Those guys are a PHENOM!!! I had the pleasure of seeing her perform last summer...oh wow...what a treat! Well...it's late and this music brain of mine needs some rest... nighty night
-
ooops... forgot to add... I listened to Bluzeman's little cajun piece that Chatty posted...very nice, very warm. Thanks for sharing your talents with us Sir! :D--> Actually, saw many Bluze/Jazz bands and performers while at the Montréal Jazz Festival this summer. Enjoyed...a Canadian bluze performer Jimmy James as well as a wonderful group called Mississippi Heat. I walked into this small Jazz venue off the downtown streets of Montréal at about 12:30 am and sat down and watched this incredible woman belt out some amazing soulful music. What a moment in time that was!!! Another performer I enjoyed was Ruthie Foster and Ray Lamontagne...both incredible!! Watching Ruthie was a musical life changing event in my life! Also enjoyed an amazing evening of Pat Metheny...that was absolutely mind boggling I've never seen fingers move that quickly in my life! Well I could blither on for hours ... but I'll refrain! nighty night

OK...I'm new around these parts but I had to pipe in just the same. Chatty and I go way back on GS ;)--> ~ we kinda met on this thread that Chatty had started. It was a wonderful thread on music and all musicians and music lovers started to appear. A wonderful time had by all. But all that aside...I just finished reading that article on Johnny Smith and I was amazed!!! Cannot wait to share it with a few of my music junkie friends. Thanks! Toodaloo...'til the next time

ROA = Swampie unbearable heat Gnats, Gnats and more Gnats Too much freaken' walking in unbearable temperatures Standing in unbelievable line-ups to get a lemonade drink Standing in hot stinkin' weather to take a ridiculously overcrowded communal shower People in Cushman's thinking they're disturbingly very important Big Top Teachings that drone on for hours on end Me, trying to avoid leadership so I wouldn't get reproved for something I'm sure I've 'missed'. Me, wondering how I'm gonna pay off the debt I incurred to attend this event! Having to watch some idiot sing 'Dang Me' and 'Light My Fire' and he think he's good Oh, NO MORE...please... this is killing me!!!

Mr. Hammie, I'm sorry...i must be one of those very dense peoples...but what are the mating habits of Guinea Pigs? I actually have 2 of them (well...they're are technically my kids', and they are both female -the pigs that is ... well actually so are the kids) :D-->) and the only thing I have to do with those things(meaning the pigs) is that I simply walk by once in a while and say ...'the rodents' cage needs cleaning'. That's my job. :P--> Gawd...that was a poorly written post!
-
MR. HAMMIE, "10. All sling along der vey songs shall be played in a minor chord.." YOU GAVE ME ONE BIG CHUCKLE! :D--> THANKS!!

Addendum to the internal memo: 9. Special 'brownies' ;)--> and an array of alcoholic beverages (40%) must be served after the meeting to the public so that the people can finally have a good time. (snacks and drinks are prohibited to be served to the leader). He must be sent directly back to his skanky motel room where a black and white fuzzy reception television awaits him and yellowed sheets.

The most ludicrous thing you heard, from those "in da know"

Hammie, All music written in a minor key is devilish. Yes, sadly it is true. All that soulful, heart longing, sorrowful, lush, rich, feeling, beautiful music...in the toilet... Voilà ! Another devil spirit infestation thwarted!! So easy...1, 2, 3...just keep throwing out them devil spirits right out your door and into your landfill sites. Sheeeshh...them landfill sites must be an area of 'ill repute'. Those poor b*stards who have to work in those places...they must be possessed. It's all making sense now. -
Mr. Hammie, 'Tis true. It would be priceless. Maybe some "Grunge" music might be appropriate!

Belle, You made me chuckle! I was told that if TWI had chosen VHS then the world would have gone to BETA. HOLY DEFECATION BATMAN! Talk about a NO-WIN situation! All music written in a minor key is devilish. I think that one tops it for music ludicrousness. --> by the way, I gotta say, that this ----> 'smileys' is one of my favourite!
